Premo is a great car and even better than Corolla with regards to engine sound level and suspension, but it sucks on speed breakers cause it touches every single speed breaker.
One of my cousins came from ISB to buy a Premo or MarkII, he got a Premo and drove it in KHI with me for few days. Unfortunately it enountered an accident on the junction under the new National Cricket Stadium flyover. We then had to get it repaired, got done its denting/painting job in a day and went to buy some parts and that was a disappointing moment, though the required parts (front grill, front head light and bumper were made available from Plaza market with great effort but were way too expensive. The cost of head light is Rs. 9000, front grill 8000 and bumper 30000.
This was the moment that I loved my Corolla, I asked the prices of its parts and found bumper 3500, pair of back lights 8000 (new design), front grill for 1500. And the same are avialable at every auto market throughout Pakistan. Also, you can sell your Corolla, if required, within few hours and without any major drawdown.
If you are willing to pay the price, Premo is a better car, if not, there is no match with Corolla in terms of the above mentioned factors. But Altis has lower resale than XLI and GLI, if you really like fast cars, once again there is a price tag associated with it.
A word of caution: Altis is dangerously fast car for our streets and it become even more dangerous taking into consideration its tendency to skid on hard breaking at high speed.
