I can not tell you about the sale and resale because i live in Gilgit and here we have NCP cars. If you don’t know about them it means, non custom paid. The market dynamics are different here than in cities.
But considering it’s a car with Toyota badge on it, I’m sure the resale must be good.
For the fuel average, i have driven and kept all the variants. The 2.0 G Variant has the minimum fuel consumption and is more fun to drive than the 1.8 and 1.5.
The 2.0 G/ G superior variant gives you around 10-11km/ltr in city and upto 15/16km/ltr on high way with AC. These figures are for mountainous roads of Gilgit. These must be better for cities.
The 1.8 X variant gives around the same mileage as the G variant. But let me emphase on the fact the G 2.0 variant gives a little better fuel mileage than the 1.8 X variant. But there’s no big difference.
The 1.5 variant is gives good mileage in city around 11-12km/ltr but it feels so under powered in comparison to 1.8 and 2.0. Since the terrain in Gilgit is not plain we have to rev the accelerator the 1.5 variant ends up consuming more fuel on long journeys. Like up to 13/14km/ltr . But on a plain highway like motorways if you have a light foot the 1.5 variant can reach upto 20km/ltr. But for such driving conditions the G and X variants would give you way better fuel average than the F 1.5 variant.
So if you want a car that is powerful and fun to drive, get a 2.0 G suppior which is the top of the line variant which comes with heated leather seats. Otherwise a 1.8 X variant could be hour best bet. I will not recommend 1.5 variant to anyone. Because Premio has a fairly large body and it needs a bigger engine under the hood.
All the best for your decision.
