Is there a hybrid battery ventilation system and are you sure it is working properly?
I sat in a Careem Prius who was running the AC in winters! I asked him why and he said the battery was over heating. I was most surprised to know he had no idea about the possibility of the battery having a ventilation system and self regulating its temperature.
P0A80 is specifically due the battery bank issue.You might have some cells in the battery faulty.You can go to the mechanic who can diagnose the battery on the tool first .That tool give the current levels on all the cells and then he decide whether it can be repaired by replacing some cells or you need to change the full battery pack.

I had this problem with Prius 1.8 2010, unplugged the 12 v battery for one minute, plugged it again, problem solved.What was the final solution to your problem, please share for benefit of others.
What you did was just sweeping the dirt under the carpet, this is not a solution by any manner. The longer you wait to get the car diagnosed the more faulty cells it will develop.

Is it coming when you switch off the car?
No when i turn it on. Previously I was having an error which said key battery a little when i switched off the car after a drove of 10-15 kms and it appeared when i switched off the car. I thought it was about remote battery. But now I am getting this error
Is it accompanied with a Check Engine light?
Yes engine check, traction control, ABS, BIG HAZARD LIGHT TOO FOLLOWING IS THE PICTURE

No. It came tonight, that is why I was asking for a good mechaninc who knows about prius

Sallam I went to get it checked and it showed “P0A80: REPLACE BATTERY PACK”I ask the technician to refresh the error msg he refreshed it and since then i have driven 40-50 kms it did not show any error. Yet the drive was normal.The technician said that i need to get the battery changedPlease guide
