Salam. I am thinking of buy Toyota prius 2007-8. My drive is 50% in isamabad and 50% in a village in Mansehra. Currently I own corolla altis 2009. Please advice me on following issues1) 2007-8 is old.. Will it be easy to maintain.. My road to my village is not good. 2) round clearance? When we are 5 people in car some time corolla starches its belly on speed bump. 3)Spare parts price as compared to corolla?

I think maybe a new WagonR would work. Not very comfortable, but good resale + economy, better ground clearance, and can sit 5 people if they are determined enough.
We are in a joint family. We need 5 people and some extra space for children and luggage.
In that budget limited options available but I would definitely not suggest Prius. Totally unsuitable for you. New Wagon R with a roof carrier might help. Or you can buy some van (FAQ XPV) which would hold 5 people, luggage and have A/C.
Being owner of Prius 2007 I suggest don't buy it if you have family of 5 members. It will give you a lots of bumps and ground clearness issues in village and on speed breakers. it's perfect for city and for 3,4 members.
What if I place spacers to lift it a bit?What about maintenance?
Still it will give you troubles. By lifting car little bit will not give you smooth ride. I have pre-installed spacer and it gives slight bumps on road. Today now its touch screen not working :(. I am searching for good mechanic who can fix this issue.
