One thing that will happen after this will be Some Law change with regards to Prius 1.8 Import. Otherwise Local vendor will be affected by this directly. No one will buy prius at this price.. I bought 2010 new shape Like INDUS PRIUS for 25 Lacks with registration..... 50% duty from 1.8 probably will be reduced to 1.6 Because it is Pakistan..... SO stay ready people

its sold at 25-30k $in us and if it sells at 40k$ in pak ,indus is not at fault its our government that is imposing taxes so that common man remains devoid of luxuries and necessities alike

True. Toyota and other companies should urge the government to at least take off taxes on brand new imported cars.

But the path our nation is taking, some good people won't get that pleasure.

I am soo jealous of India- name a car brand, they have it. They even have some crazy cng mixtures for cars and stuff.

Well, some people do care about their environment- If CNG was available 24/7 i would've used that instead. Do try to contribute to the climate! Winters are not what they used to be years back. And honestly, Prius has more features then Civic can get in a few years.

But the price tag makes it logical to get a Civic and blow all the rest of the cash on some smexy mods and fuel No offense!
