Due to Yen fluctuations and duty, there has been such a massive variation of price in the market. Cars imported earlier did cost more and at the same time if a Car sold/bought for 24 due to an earlier time of import by a few months would cost much less maybe if imported a few months later for an exactly identical car. Due to this cost variation a lot of importers had to even sell cars at losses while some importers/sellers were lucky to sell them at higher price to buyers not having much knowledge of current import costs etc.
I bought my 2011 S-Led for 21.75 in August, verified 4.5-B because my preference was Ash white/Ivory interior and the full black interior was the only reason i did not want to buy a 2012. Nonetheless i was quoted a total of 21.50 for a car including all costs & everything, even the 50 thousand management charges demanded by the importer who would do it for me. So technically means it was costing 21 without his charges
