your dealer mechanic is an idiot if he suggested you HOBC fuel to a "system too lean code" - System too lean code is triggered when the Long term fuel trims go more than +24%, this condition can be set by dirty MAF or a faulty AFR sensor in the exhaust or even a vacuum leak. A good diagnosis can solve it.

Did you get any working proceeding and result from this dealer? or he just said - iss me haee aaktein daalein - and you said OK.

Never do a battery terminal remove type reset on your car. this is not the 1980s anymore.

My brother took prius to toyota airport as suggested by Nabeel bhai and Alhumdulilah its fine now. Even my brother was impressed by the guy who checked our car

My brother told me over the phone that they just remove some sensor and cleaned it and fixed it back light was gone after that. They also run the diagnostic
I think that was oxygen sensor.
He also said that many cars got this light and this is the solution

It doesn't have good resale atm because people are still afraid of hybrids and prefer to buy vehicles from their reliable sources. If fuel prices go higher, it's resale will definitely get better, if not, it won't. Prius is an amazing daily driver with a ground clearance issue, as for sale after 6 months... Won't sell too easily

It must have been the MAF sensor that was cleaned - if one tried to clean the AFR sensor in the exhaust - it would have killed it.

Just go for it.
Dont ruin ur driving pleasure for the sake of saving 1 lac that too at the time of resale.

I sold my corolla gli 1.6 last year for 1525k which i bought in 2012 for 1742k+reg.

I am driving prius 1.5 for more than a year now. It was 23k kms self import 4 grade car. Now it is 40k km driven. No work except for routine oil change and service tuning.

There is no way on earth an e class from w211 series can hit that speed unless it's being carried inside an aircraft. Mercedes themselves cannot claim this 260 km/hr figure for any single production model of e class. Even the most powerful version had a top speed of 250 km/hr or 155 mph which was the max for any or all production versions out of the w211 generation. I hope you didn't mean 260 meters/hour or by any chance you own one of a kind non limited w211 which can reach 260 km/hr.
Tested by many car journalists and test drivers and not a single one in the entire world has claimed that for an e class w211 till today on a production model, unless the limiter has been removed which is not a piece of cake.

Same goes for my car. i said CRUISE CONTROL goes till 260 not the car...we are talking about cruise controls in previous topics.
