if you top up tank every time make sure do not over fill after dispenser auto stop.
It's not that I like to do it. I just don't want loose change (sometimes that's not even returned by filling station these days). That's why when pump clicks at let's say Rs.2885, I get it filled for Rs.3000 in total
So for saving the hassle of storing rs 115 you will damage a part costing rs 10,000?

I wasn't aware of effects of this practice. There is no brainer in keeping 115rs to save the canister. By the way I never felt smell of fuel in cabin until I got the fuel filter replaced so hopefully canister is still not the cause
