Toyota Ractis 2007 2SZ-FE acceleration issue

Dear Pakwheelers,
I bought 2007 Toyota Ractis from my brother in 2019. I need your expertise to help me diagnose acceleration issue in my car. Its SCP100 with 1300cc 2SZ-FE and CVT transmission, has done 230,000kms. I am third owner, 1st and 2nd owner are within family so I know it has been maintained well. In a straight line it can't keep up with mehran/Alto 660cc. Top speed is 140km/h. When the pedal is floored, engine runs at high rpm instantly but speedo raises very slowly. Fuel average in city is 13km/l and highway is 16km/l so can't complain(without AC). Tires are 195/65R15(factory size is 175/60R16), catalytic converter, throttle body and VVTi system, all air and fuel sensors are serviced(read Ghusul-e-mayyiat) by desi mechanics, plugs filters are replaced on time. I use Shell HX6 10w-40 which is changed at 3000kms. Engine oil is reduced to 2litres from 3.5litre after every 3000kms. No oil leaks on floor even though bottom of engine is oily. I am tired to dumping money in the name of service and maintenance when performance is not getting better at all. Only reason of keeping this car is comfortable drive. I will be visiting a mechanic suggested by @capsat tomorrow and will keep you guys updated with the tests/solutions for fixing the power-loss issue in my car.

Although front of this car is acceptable for me, I do admit I have to look away the moment I see it's rear while it's parked at home

Visited mechanic today. During test drive he asked me regarding maintenance history. He asked me when was the Fuel pump/filter was replaced last time. I proudly told him genuine Japanese is still in place. He gave me look of "You got to be kidding me "
So he started from replacement of fuel filter. He told me that he will use hammer and chisel to open the cover and there is a risk to breaking the cover so be ready if this happens. He did break from few points

He was right. Filter was indeed in bad shape. This black liquid in pan is petrol from filter

Engine belt was noisy. Changed and bought a expensive(branded one) which costed Rs.1700. Old was was used for 10k kms and was bought for Rs.400
Mechanic charged Rs.4500 for filter replacement and compression test

New belt is bent next to old one for comparision

Now the results.. Car is responsive now. RPM and speedo are talking to each other now
Engine is quieter too. I am yet to test on speed above 100km/hour to see if engine is engaged with transmission the way it should. Previously at the speed of 100km/hour car was shifting to lower gear (2500rpm) to maintain 100km/hour however this engine was capable of doing 100km/hour with AC at 2000rpm before desi mechanic cleaned catalytic converter and serviced all sensors

Shifting to lower gear has nothing to do with low power, its throttle dependant.

I am that Alien who lives in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, so my life choices will always differ from an average Karachiites. I buy 65inch TV and AC from Saddar and drive all the way to hadeed without hiring any suzuki.. hence this car IS my type car

I got throttle body serviced but that didn't work for me. Today's job is what I needed during the last 20k KMs. I raced with my younger bros Suzuki Hustler AWD 660cc turbo couple of months ago and got destroyed. Today, I did friendly race again to clear Placebo effect.. I caught up to him Today .That thing flies

engine reducing oil, i think alot of gunk will be accumulating in the exhaust system, if it has a cat, maybe check it out

Since we opened fuel pump for the first time,mechanic said even though it is working we normally replace them too. I didn't replac it. Now, my car has ALWAYS started instantly in morning with the slight push of key in ignition but now it cranks for 1 sec or 2 then engine comes to life. I can smell petrol in cabin too even though we took a test drive after installing and sealing fuel pump for checking leaks. There wasn't any

Got cat checked twice, found nothing. In past engine oil was changed after 1000kms, 500km even 300kms for various reasons. Engine oil gets dirty within 400-500kms. Today during compression test we found oil on spark plugs. Mechanic said engine packing is leak but don't worry about it

have you spoken to mechanic over fuel smell issue ? is there a charcoal canister in your car, sometimes fuel smell inside the cabin is due to clogged canister.

And the canister clogging is due to a special act that almost all of Pakistani, Indian and almost all ME people do to their cars.
