Well, I think that Mitsu Man never said anything wrong here..... and generally while I do not necessarily always agree with his st , I can see where he is coming from (most of the time i.e. (H))!
BTW Here are my 2 cents on the Toy vs Mitsu dilemma: I feel that Toyotas in general are over engineered beasts designed to go to the moon and come back, no matter what. Build to last using rather simplistic and more tried and tested technologies. In this scenario, performance related aspects are invariably compromised at some level given cost considerations. I feel that Mitsubishi are somewhat on the other side of the spectrum where performance is the key criteria and never ending lastability and endurance are somewhat secondary (though by no means ignored).
As a result of the above, I have always felt that Mitsubishi is much more of a driver's car while Toyota is more of a practical workhorse.....each will have their own proponents...
Sir MitsuMan's case is obviously somewhat special as its a complete story of love....and hence its all fair in my books (H)
