I have recently bought revo 2021 , yesterday I went to install front camera from F 10 Islamabad - during installation following happened
Back camera stopped working
Dashboard gave all errors signals ( park / brake etc )
Front camera works .
Today I went to Toyota capital motors I9 they said that LCD has some issues and warranty can’t be claimed as I have installed front camera..
So when they disconnected the can cable ( cable that connects lcd with car software - multimedia ) from the LCD.
errors are gone from dashboard but can’t use multimedia and some other features of the car .. front camera / camera both don’t works ..
Now I have three options
Get it repaired from Toyota vendors as this is new LCD they said costs 1 Lakh and not available in market and can’t be easily repaired .
I buy new lcd same as this
I buy after market lcd to save some bucks and may get better quality for this kindly send me some options..
But still not sure if my front cam and back camera will work fine with new lcd or after market lcd.
Also if you can guide in overall fix of this issue .. feel free thx
