Toyota Rush 2018 to be launched on 30th August

According to our sources, the Indus Motor Company is all set to introduce the second-gen Toyota Rush 2018 in Pakistan on 30th August 2018.

The all-new Rush will be launching on 30th August. The first few hundred units are going to be CBUs. It is not clear whether Toyota Pakistan will assemble it locally or keep selling it as a completely built unit. The car will come with a smart entry and push-start button. Rush will come equipped with electronically powered steering and will have a turning radius of 5.2 meters. The steering wheel itself has multimedia controls on it. The factory audio unit is a 7" touch display head unit that supports DVD, USB, AUX, and Bluetooth. The unit also works with Apple Carplay. Digital climate control with a vent for rear passengers is also part of the long list of features.

As written in the previous blog, it will be 4-speed automatic transmission with a 1.5-liter petrol engine. Safety-wise, you will get features such as ABS, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Brake Assist, and Hill-start Assist. There are two alloy wheels options: 16- and 17-inch.

Moreover, Toyota Rush 2018 will be available in as many as six colors.

The new MPV/mini-SUV by Indus Motors is rumored to be priced at PKR 3 - 3.5 million. Keep in mind it is just a speculation for now, and we will update our readers as soon get a confirmation.

no...i dont think so....brv is a piece of trash...but civic is serious business....even city is better than brv....infact city is a much much better car than brv....

Obviously BRV is a outcome of Honda Brio. And so is Toyota Rush a cheap product.

People saying it can compete against Vitara are comparing horses donkeys and zebras.

Terios or Rush are cheap products from toyota to cater the Indonesian Asian market. They might look good but they just serve the purpose.

In pictures the rush looks wider maybe seating is comfier. But still it cannot beat the comfort of Toyota premium product I.e Corolla.

Yes it might be par with Avanza, Yaris, Vios etc.

Nay at 3-3.5m, should be at the brv price point. Vitara and used vezel are much better than this 3rd world only thingy at 3-3.5m segment.

I don't think so, as stated this will be priced at 3 to 3.5m. the brv is like 2.4m. hardly in the same category for customers here. It's going to sell like the Vitara by the looks of it.

3 million is bottom line considering CBU. Local production shouldn't be priced beyond BRV exceeding 2-2.5 lacs

Since suzuki can manage Ciaz at 2 million I dont find a reason for Rush being priced exorbitantly high.

But you can expect any thing from local assembler. Depends on what they are targeting BRV or BMW X1.

I hope Suzuki Ertiga comes into play now. Big MPV market opening up. At least at airports they are surely needed.

the 1.5L 4 speed Auto is a rubbish engine. If people call BRV sluggish then this will be worse.

I doubt ertiga will be winning anything, Pakistanis prefer this SUV'ish type mpv's instead of proper mpv's otherwise APV would have been doing way better than what it's doing rn. Suzuki needs the cheaper Vitara called Vitara brezza but this may involve kit imports from India so I guess that ain't possible.

Comparison shots done with BRV might mean that Toyota is targetting BRV with this launch. Around 2.8M would be a very good price.

Also consider the fact that JDM used 5 year old Rush is available in 2.4M Rs. If toyota doesn't price it reasonable, it will meet the fate of brand new Prius that was launched by indus.

BRV is a piece of junk. i travelled on it from isb to lahore and i wanted to kick the guy on his face for wasted hard earned 2.3 million rupees.

Apv can't sell any good, because Suzuki never marketed apv as much as Honda marketed BRV, suzuki's APV sucks in design, in generation, I have even seen it had leaf spring suspension, still after all those years it is sold as CBU and stays in the showroom for display accessory, so no logic in posting APV performance in the MPV category
