Salam to all,
I have a same problem in 2005 surf 2TR engine, is average mileage is 4.7, i have replaced the spark plugs, Air intake filter, even replaced the Spark plugs Coils but the problem is still exist
and there is no engine check alarm present. could you please give any suggestions.

MAF sensor might need replacement. Try replacing that. Also, i was once advised to get the nozzles checked. Not sure how that is done, but could be helpful. There is not much else that would affect milage. Specially, the milage as low as you are getting, it is most likely not related to the stuff you have changed. Should be 6.5 and above if driven carefully. A similar Prado gets 7.5km/ltr but the driver takes due caution and drives with a lght foot.

I have surf 1998, avg in city is 4-5/l and on highway its 7-8/l
