i recently bought toyota vitz 1500 cc manual transmission 89000 driven, i require some advice from experts regarding following probelms.
1. car ABS is not working and ABS light is not ON.
2. which grade oil is recommended for 1nz fe engine having 89000 milage.
3. when i start car in morning it starts sluggishly afyer that starts good, if i turned off afyer an hour or 2 starting is sluggish.

How did you check the ABS? Get you car hooked with OBD-2 scanner and get it scanned throughly and look for any unusual readings.

Brother I would suggest thorough regular maintenance of your vehicle (Koi pata nai, isski last time preventive maintenance kab Hui ho? Ya kafi arsay sey Hui b Hai k nai?)

Get it scanned through computer for detailed diagnosis, and if you want Total package, get your vehicle inspected by Pak wheels car inspection team. They will thoroughly inspect your vehicle and give you all the details of work required to be done and the problems found (transmission (if any), brakes, etc.)

RS. 2000 kharcha aye ga, but it's worth spending And Iss tarha sey AAP local mecahnics k jougaru programs sey bach jyein gey.

If your engine is in pristine condition, I would suggest 5w-30 (or max. 5w-40) API SN fully Synthetic Engine Oil from any well reputed brand, but make sure that the oil is 100% genuine and original. And do that after complete engine flush.

I'll not recommend that. Get it inspected from any reputed technician / workshop.

common jugar he,....check abs sensors...wiring etc. get it computerized scan...go to efi electrician...

to save money, people normallly use this techniqu...turn off the abs light when it is not working....

this mostly happens when you need to change all tube...barrings...etc.

Ok Sir. Actually mainay complete inspection by Pakwheels ka Iss liay kaha Tha k bhia ney just abhi recently hi car li Hai, and he may not know any / all issues regarding it.

I don't know the rates in Mardan but yahan Rawalpindi / Islamabad mein just scanner lga k check karnay ka hi achay technicians RS. 1000 charge Kar laitay hain, and they charge separately for rectification of error codes.

I still remember, when I purchased my Passo car last year, I got it after after complete peace of mind and inspection by Pakwheels inspection service. They completely scanned ecu (worth RS. 1000 by good mechanics / technicians only for this service) as well as whole car in just RS. 2000. Puri Gari ki harr tarha sey Tassalli b ho gye; if there were any minor error codes wo b rectify ho gye, in only RS. 2000.

Unless the tyres locked and the car skidded, your ABS is alright and it was just not required in the situation that you applied brakes in. I would suggest you to not fix something that is not broken and keep using the car. Unless it skids in emergency braking, don't try fixing ABS. For testing ABS, I would suggest you to get into an open space, with wet surface, gravel or any other type of surface where tyres lock when brake is pressed, and then check the brakes. If the tyres don't lock, then ABS was not necessary and won't engage. If the tyres lock and ABS doesn't engage, you have a problem. Otherwise, you are alright. Make your safety and that of others a priority when trying this.

As for the sluggish start, do you mean that the self-start mechanism is sluggish? Or does the car not accelerate properly? If it is the first, then get your battery checked. If the second, then you will need to get it diagnosed properly.

brother would you suggest engine oil for viyz 1nz fe 80000 driven, which grade oil is recommended

If I had that car, I would use any good brand synthetic 5w40 engine oil.

I hav axio 1.5 (1nzfe).... 85000 driven and i use 5W40 havoline.... however it all depends on the condition of the engine.... if compression test comes out to be good than fully synthetic oil to be used

Its due to a bad fuel filter or may be a weak fuel pump ... Get both the things checked !

Get the error codes through a scanner ... Most of the times the ABS sensors with in the wheels are the culprit & your problem will be solved after replacing the bad sensor. Its not that much big or complex issue, get it solved as soon as possible.

I used to own a vitz 1.3 with 2nz under the hood. That car had 500,000 kilometers on the odo (verified original mileage) when I sold it & I always used 5w-30 grade oil in it. The engine sound was as smooth as new. There was no oil reduction issues at all.

So point of telling about my car is that you can also use 5w-30 in it.
