Toyota Vitz 2005 import 2008
i am receiving error P0722
i changed the speed sensor but still the same
when car cross 30KM speed on speedo meter check light turns on
if speed remain below 30KM no check light turns on
can someone help?
and please suggest me a good engine oil as well thanks

problem was fixed, there was speedometer grip under the battery which was loose. fixed it and problem is gone now

Could you please elaborate a little more about the grip that was loose. Was it a speed sensor affixed over the transmission or something else.

Code was for faulty speedometer sensor, sensor can be checked with multimeter, as i explored on internet they say if its open or short, its faulty, but sensor was neither short nor open. So next step was its solenoid. It was also washed then there were a main grip under the battery which was loose. It was creating problem

The best engine oil for Vitz is ZIC A+ 5w-20 and it gives the best fuel economy.
You can keep the change interval as 4K

Nt 5w-40 ? As recommended in another thread for 1kr ?
