Hi Buddies,

I am using Toyota Vitz 2006 1000cc and I have recently done the following and the car is giving me 8 Average please do let me know what is the best average in the city of my car and Milage in 140K.

Throttle Body Cleaning
MAF Sensor Replaced
PLUGS Replaced iridium installed Denso
Alignment Done
FUEL Change 10W-40W - KIXX

CATALYTIC is oka and it has dust as well,

irrespective of milage over odometer of a JDM, change engine oil to 5W-30 or 0W-20 known brands from known delaership.

1KR-FE fuel economy is 11km / ltr with AC

It is similar to what I am getting on same model. But I am using 5W-30. Avoid Shell Engine oil and fuel, bad quality.

Throttle body is one of the most important part of maintenance as well as regular calibration.

What Air filter are you using?

If you are making many short trips, the average will go down.

Correct, and around 14 without AC. But I also getting low mileage. Does it has to do with new fuel standards?

It will impact the car's engine, isn't it? Secondly I am using LIQUI MOLY 10W40 engine which is I think perfect for my car if not please do recommend which one is good

Having kept 2 cars with 1kr-fe, always use 0w20 or at most, 5w30. Secondly, if you really want to test the fuel average of your car, always do it on the highway. The car should give anywhere between 14-20 with ac depending on the engine condition driving at a constant speed of 100-110.
