Toyota Vitz 2007 1300cc or Suzuki Swift (Brand New)

I was wondering whether I should go for Vitz 2007 1300cc (CNG Compatible) or new Suzuki Swift. (right now being the owner of Coure 2008)
I like everything about that Vitz 2007. Its condition is great, ran about 28000km. Also it has keyless entry and push start. Its just my elders advising for suzuki swift just for the sake that its PAK made and parts easily available, also in a cheap rate i guess. However I just fell in love with that Vitz 2007 and not in favour of Swift at all.
which one would you prefer. Plz let me know with the Pros n Cons. Peace

bhai go for swift auto imported 2006-07 aap ko 11 lac mein byhat achi gari mil jaye gi. vitz se achi hai aur local swift ke parts fit ho jayenge.

IF your Pak made swift has better interior, power adjustable headlights, rear wiper, power self close door mirrors, fuel cut out after crash, better ac, Air bags, safety beams, better paint quality, UV glass, rear tints, better build quality, supports cng (1300cc vitz) then go for swift.

there is no doubt we fell in love with vitz as i was one of you.
i bought vitz 2006/1300 ccc two months back and gone against my family decision to buy swift ...but now i think there were right i was wrong as vitz have these problems and u have to live with them

after buying
there u have to stock your car as jdm throw it as a fully used car in japan it will cost you 15 to 20 thousands,

there is noise in cabin like a used car,there is knocking as that vvti engine used high octane and several other problems. also cvt transmiison which consume more fuel even on cng,road clearance is very bad always touch on every bump.

so my advise is for swift as it will be zero meter car and no huredl for 5 years.

Bro I will suggest you to go for Vitz!
Pros:
its very comfortable!
Its rear seats are way better then PDM Swift!
I have travelled in Corolla, vitz and swift and belive me Vitz rear seats are comfortable then Corolla and Swift!
Its automatic so you will be more comfortable in city traffic!
And many other!
Cons:
its an old model! (if its in good condition then it doesent matter)
I dont think that it will run good on cng because of its auto tranny! Automatic transmation will face you problems!

P.s I also heard that swift is not good on Cng! So Go for vitz! You will not regret your decision!

Go for swift as it is brand new 2 years warrenty and you will face no problems for 4 years. There is a lot of difference between a used car and a new one.
Also the parts of vitz are very expensive and not that easy to get as well. I have seen a lot of people in Lahore that have a broken vitz bumper and are driving with it because its a hassle to change it can be repaired though.

@OP: i think you should listen to buyer of vitz first as mrh20001 has pointed several problems. The ones who are actually suggesting for vitz are i believe they don't own a vitz.

how u know? to correct you, i owned 06 vitz 3 years back for 5 months. my different friends have 4 vitz's.

go for vitz, swift has pathetic interior quality plus knocking sound on petrol or go for 2006-2007 automatic swift and if u have seen swift 1.4 diesel version its the best one, i asked the owner he told me that the car is giving him minimum 24km/liter on highway and in city 17km/liter.

I will vote for Brand New Swift DLX (White Color - I prefer white color - U can buy the color u like - no Hard Feelings On Color )

I had 2006 Vitz - Bought in Jan 2009 - Push Button Start - when i bought it was 13,000 Km...(that was fake for sure). I kept the car for 3 years...and sold it. Why?

Well first of all, the car was almost 5 years OLD now and with time wear and tear happens. Not many good mechanics are arround who car trace the issues if any happend in the car.

keyless entry and push start is not what a local mechanic can handle...replacement cost of keyless entry is over Rs.30,000 if you lose the unit. Push Start Solinoid is also expensive i.e. over Rs.25,000

Please don't compare 2007 Vitz with Brand New Swift.... Brand new swift will give u peace of mind for atleast 3 - 4 years if you look after it well.

Brand new is always brand new- and used item are always used just think about new and used.

Vitz parts are easily available in the market now. But brand new parts of Vitz are very very expensive. Toyota is selling Vitz Ac Compressor for Rs. 80,000 ( Eighty Thousand - yes just for teh compressor) . Side mirros for vitz are over Rs. 35,000 for the pair.

Again you can buy a used Vitz and buy used parts from Bilal Ganj - Lahore....but used is used

My sincere advice will be brand new swift dlx - white color and enjoy trouble free ride for 3 - 4 years easily. All parts are easily available, at a cheaper rate.

Thank u for providing such a detailed information. This really makes sense. All others also gave their best options. After such a debate i'd may go with swift. However in the beginning, i was not in interest of swift at all. But resale value and parts cost is really an imp factor to be considered. Thank u people for ur opinions. I appreciate it a lot

poster japanese cars are for those you have sense and knowledge of maintaining cars, otherwise local cars are for those who wanna maintain their ride with every road side mechanic available. Just think if japanese cars are not reliable then how come people invest million of dollars in re-conditioned cars especially small one,
