Toyota Vitz 2011 | Feedback

Dear Members,

I would appreciate if you can help me based on your experience in selecting a car among PASSO (2011) vs VITZ (2011):
Criteria should be performance, less maintenance cost and good fuel consumption.

Also if you can give your opinion on 2011 VITZ models/editions available in Pakistan and does it really worth spending 1.4 million on that car?

Both are equally good cars; it depends which looks appealing to you.

As for "Value for money" buy the standard F model.

Both cars should give you 10~12km/l max in the city. No more.

I've no idea about the mileages, but Ive sat in both, interior of older vitz is much better than new vitz to me atleast.

Thanks for the feedback. Both Passo n Vitz 2011 have ECO modes that give 15+ mileage. 10-12 per litre was in earlier models actually.

No idea about the Witz.
But i have a Passo 2012 and i can compare it with my friends vitz 2010 for you. We bought them almost at the same time.

Passo:
Fuel average= 14-20km/lit (14 is the minimum, with Eco off and harsh driving)
Maintenance= Almost as same as Vitz, original parts however are expensive of all these cars.
Performance= Almost similar as they have the same Engine (1 KR FE). Although i have an advantage as my car is newer nd is of less mileage,

Vitz:
Fuel Average= 9-12 km/Ltr
Maintenance=Same
Performance=Same

Verdict= Passo is cheaper but Vitz is better looking. And fuel consumption is better in a passo

Word of Advise: PLEASE DON'T BE TEMPTED BY THE ECO MODE. Its not like the car will be running on water. Eco mode only lessens the amount of fuel supple to the engine nd ensures a steady flow. Its crap and burdens the car engine.

I drive with Eco mode off and the fuel average stated above is with eco off.

Only rumour i have heard is that the new Vitz is underpowered with the 1000cc engine. Which may be true as the new Yaris shape launched comes in 1500cc versions.

But then again there are experts here and this is all my opinion

Thanks for the detailed feedback. New Vitz surely has advantage of sporty shape but Passo has better fuel consumption. So can I get Eco modes and all features in 2011 models as well?

Yes you can get all the features in both Passo and Witz , including the eco mode.
The main thing u got to consider is the difference in prices. A 2012 Passo is much cheaper than a 2012 Witz
