Toyota Vitz 4 wheel drive option suggestions sought!

I been looking for a Toyota Vitz recently and came across one 1300cc 2006 model having 4 wheel drive does anyone have any information on 4WD Vitz????
Also is it suggested to get a 1300cc or a 1000cc???

I'd love to see a 4x4 Vitz / Yaris

and by the way 2nd generation Vitz/ Yaris / Echo with prefix XP 90 is also known as Daihatus Charade ! Assembled in Thailand

I think you should get FWD vitz dont go for the AWD. about parts Vitz parts are widely available in market. the 1.3 L 2NZ-FE is same as corolla XLI so you will find its air filter and oil filter easily. But do confirm it has 2NZ-FE coz i am not sure

My family friend owns a 1300 cc vitz 2006 model. He bought it in good times 2008 for about 8 lacks rupees. It also came with original vitz body kit. The only way to tell a difference b/w 1000 cc vitz and 1300 cc vitz without looking at the engine is that the 1300 cc vitz comes with the RPM meter (along with the speedometer). I have driven the car myself also and mannnnnn its unbelievably fast and excellent handling due to AWD !!!!

If you find it go for it. Spare's are no issue.

Thanks for the reply even Im thinking now that if any of the AWD stuff needs fixing at all there are no parts available for that fo FWD maybe a better option here lets see Im in no hurry to get a car yet just waiting for the best option to come along as my dead line to get a car is in 1st week october at latest

if you want a pocket rocket go for 1.3 AWD vitz if you want economy than you know what to do

1) in my suggestion , there is no point to buy a non jeep car with 4 by 4 drive. it will just waste your fuel. vitz is not a off road vehicle , so no benefit of getting 4 by 4

2) vitz is more popular in 1000 cc , so 1000 cc will have good resale. 1300 is not as popular. and i think its not as fuel efficient. but if you are going to buy a bit larger car , for example BELTA , you should go for 1300 cc.

any one with information of 1.3L 2NZ-FE(same XLI) 4WD and 2SZ-FE(FWD) as 1.3L is also suitable for the CNG and then it can be very economical.

Please do not buy a 4WD Vitz, they aren't meant for ours roads and they are quite fuel-thirsty as compared to the 1.0L and 1.3L front wheel drive variant(s).

They cost quite less as compared to other variants as well, a good amount of vehicles which are currently being imported are 4WD/AWD some of them include Corolla Fielders, Vitz, Belta's, Premio's and so on. So, before buying one please check it throughly.
