Thanks bro for giving ur input. Now i bit the bullet and went to lahore,on thursday and after two days of nightmare of visiting people all the way from bilal ganj to walton. Here is the latest news.
Went to bilal ganj. Told that the correct ecu has resolved gear shifting issue now pressing brake halts the engine. On the suggestion of 1 pakwheeler i asked him to check brake booster valve. It turned out there was no valve, hence we put in the valve. Next i asked him to solve speed sensor issue. The garaari was rotating but there was no sensor so we installed the speed sensor gave its input to the ecu. Although it would not display the speed on the speedometer because the meter is not electric that is what he told me but the sensor is there and its giving input now to the ecu. So we tested the car after putting break valve and speed sensor so the engine stalling issue after pressing the brake was gone. The engine was no longer stalling after pressing brake. Gear shifting was fine but here comes another issue. The car wont accelerate. Even after keep pressing the accelerator it would not accelerate and will keep dragging very slowly. somehow i managed to take it to higher speed and it remained working well at higher speeds. But every time the car slowed down and shift to lower gear 1 or 2 it would not accelerate and will take repeated attempts and some good minute to take it to higher speeds. At higher speeds it would keep accelerating. So we kept changing ecu after ecu. Checked the wirings and the acceleration issue would remain the same.
We checked the fuel pump, it was fine replaced all spark plugs with newer ones, checked map sensor and every other possibility and the problem will remain the same.
So after 2 days i put my hands up as i had to return to work on Saturday. But it was an issue to drive car like that with very slow acceleration and people will start abusing u on thw busy roads.
So i thought i would put the older ecu which was 2 NZ, now bear in mind that i went to the guy who altred the car in the first place, he said that ecu was 1sz while cleaning it he misplaced its top where engine type is written so he put top of an 2nz engine. So according to him that ecu is the for 1sz. Anyways i put that ecu back. Remember that ecu had gear shifting issues. So this time it was shifting gears fine. There was no misbehaving. So that probably means the installation of new speed sensor worked. Now with this ecu, on lower speed and gears it is also taking time to accelerate but not as bad as the ecu before. On higher speeds the acceleration is fine.
So guys lambi takreer ka final part. Since the original machanic/electrician said he only changed the top but its actually 1 sz ecu,can we assume that ecu is ok now as gear shifting is fine now. So i should stick with thus ecu? If yes then why is the car struggling to accelerate at lower gear/speeds? What could be the possibility now?
Should i stick with the new ecu which had engine stalling issue when brake was pressed, but now that problem is solved. But the car would not accelerate and would literally drag like a snail and take a good minute to reach higher speeds. What could be the problem in this case?
In both cases in the meantime the car keeps working well. Did not give me any issues on the long drive at all. So its really frustrating. I am literally tearing my hairs apart
