Toyota vitz Automatic gear problem urgent help needed

i spoke to the previous owner he is saying brake servo ka issue hai. take it the mechanic and replace it and its seal .it shoud be ok.first he was saying RPM high karwa lein, i said even if that is correct but its not a permanent solution. then he told to replace brake servo. What do you guys think?

Its great u resolved a part of issue u were facing....Still even if gear shifting is fine now, the transmission should have correct oil type.

At what rpm is your car idling before pressing brake? Like when you start car. Also does rpm increases when ac is turned on?

.i dont know the exact reading at the moment, u can say the needle is at around half way marka bit short of half way,when i start the car. how ever it comes down after a minute or two i guess when the engine gets warmed up. i will have to check the idling rpm when i go home.i think it is slightly more than the starting position.i can confirm after checking tonight.The ac does not work in it so never tried to turn it on.

if you have rpm meter please share accurate rpm reading at the time when car starts, then the engine gets warm, and when you turn on the ac.

i discussed it with 1 new electrician.He asked me about the speedometer.its speedometer is not original its from a toyota. prebious owner doesnot know which toyota. Now its speed gauge does not work but rpm does.owner told me that he could not find the cable for the speed gauge.So the electrician said, that this toyota meter is designed for ABS cars and since there r no ABS in this car, hence its not giving proper signal.so this is the reason when u apply brakes the engine shuts off. he told ,me to get it scanned to be sure if scanner gives speedometer sensor error.

Now i need ur opinion if he is right or chawalein mar raha hai? if it is true what could be the solution? Again for people asking for scanning, he did not have a scanner. Noone has obd 2 scanners. they say they have regular older scanners. will those be good enough for fault diagnostics?

No we can't still assume transmission is fine, now our basis has shifted...
Which is now we've found out a fluke in the system, ecu mismatch.

Now what you'll do is get a running 1szfe ecu, & after that we'll see what's the issue. These things basically start going in a loop & then problem hides & person gets stuck.. So it's better replace ecu & and then see.

i already have installed new ecu which i got from an engine, from bilal gunj. if u mean an ecu on a running car thatwill behard to find.what do u suggest on that?

No no I mean the ecu you use should be working fine, like no turning off or bad idling, a perfect ecu of 1szfe.
And once you run it and it's perfect you'll feel a difference. We'll continue helping you out after your ecu replacement.

Chawelian mar raha hai. speedometer ka abs k sath keya link ? ya abs k lia koi special cluster meter hota ofc gari ka engine swap hua hai tou sppedometer b koi us hesab ka he lagna tha

ok the ecu i have installed is working fine except that engine tunrs off when brake is pressed. Now the car is starting at 1400 rpm.and idling at around 800 rpm..The only way to make sure the ecu is perfect is to bring the car to bilal gunj and keep trying different ecu until the engine turning issue is resolved and gears r working fine as well.Is that what u r trying to say?

Yes sir good idea i read about it in an article on google as well. One question though, if it is break vacuum issue why was it not happening on the previous ecu? In the previous ecu the car engine was not turning off when the brake pedal was pressed.

hes sort of right - but confused as hell too.

modern ABS cars have the speedo signal to the meter come over the can bus from the ABS pump to the gauges, while the transmission speed sensor reports directly to ecu. This can confuse a novice.

Then apology for my words, But, i guess we dont have such modern ABS system in Pakistan. Correct me it iam wrong.

And thats the possible solution to by pass this ABS speedo signal if thats is the case ? or change the speedo meter?
