Toyota vitz 2010 old shape and 2011 new shape, please tell me the engine oil capacity and which will be the best oil for these both cars

3.1 Litre with Oil Filter change...
2.9 Litre without Oil Filter change...

3 L for both engines

oil depends on running ....if around 70k use 5w30 ..if above 150k then use 10w40

This. Mine is 180k and I made the mistake of switching to 5w30 from 10w40 during the last oil change. My avg plummeted from 14/15 to 10/10.5

thiner oil will give u good millage ..and in 1 oil change ..change wont be prominent .... my advise would be to stay with 10w40 or 10w30

Mileage is 150k.
I am using 20w-50w for last 3 years.
Should i switch to 10-40 or 20-50 is fine.

OW-20 or 5W-30
Quantity 2.8 L with oil filter change
2.6 L without oil filter change !!

I would say any of 0w-20, 5w-20, and at max. 5w-30.

Prefer 0w-20 fully synthetic, from some respected and reputed brand, and ensure that oil is 100% genuine and original. Oil must also meet API SN / SN Plus and / or ILSAC GF-5 criteria.

The recommended brands are Total, Shell, ZIC, Kixx, Caltex / Havoline / Chevron. You can choose between any of these.

I own vitz 2016, my father owns passo 2017, both have the same engines yet passo's manual recommends 3+ litres of oil whereas vitz recommends 2.8 litres, whats the reason?

May be, despite being the same 1KR-FE engine, their designs may have slight differences in these 02 different vehicles.
