As earlier stated, it was chocked or clogged. Upon opening the net/jali was broken which was removed.

With the jali removed, it's free flow, that increases fuel consumption

catcon is there to reduce harmful emissions, that r bad for the air we breathe.

so kindly install a new catconverter.

i have rebuilt the Vitz 2013 engine, and as per mechanic that they will use and recommend the 10W-40 grade engine oil for rebuilt engines.
Please advise, is it recommended to use this grade engine oil for rebuilt engines.
Secondly what are the checks regarding engine performance to be done on daily/randomly basis.

use 5w 30.and ur engine will be happy

@mdaniyal after overhaul 1st engine oil change is at 1000 kms,
there after you shall use 5W-30 engine oil in 1KR-FE engine.
As read on this forum 1KE FE vitz engine is very delicate and any other oil class may result in high oil consumption and bad fuel economy.

Yes he's right no need to worry about it if he uses 10w40

I change the first oil at 4000 kms after rebuild.
And regular checks are engine oil level monitoring and coolant monitoring and further instructions can be seen if you sent a WhatsApp message on 03115135516 I will ask some team member to send you the rebuild precaution chart. For 1 Kr engine.

Dear @rajaatta, thanks for your opinion. I just used the route towards the Islamabad for new rebuild engine running test as per mechanic recommendations and what i have observed that car pick was not too good as expected and secondly the speed didn't go up from 120KM, there were no speed change, when i tried to increase the acceleration except increasing in rpm. We where 4 adults.
I talked to mechanic, he said it just a normal thing, as far as more you run the car more you get the performance of engine.
Please suggest is this really happening after rebuild or it kind of a serious issue with engine or some of its any equipment.

What is the status of your cvt fluid. When it was last changed?

What are the rebuild parameters. What new parts were used ?

1 litter was reduced, and topped up by 1 litter as per mechanic. Previously it was changed on 80Km milage and now it is 102500km.

I don't know about the parameters. However, they replace piston, ring and valve seats. Rest of the things were existing used, there is not any damage was detected.

How the mechanic determined that one litre was reduced because there is no dipstick in this transmission.

Yes, not changed because it looks good, the oil color was not changed. And it will be changed after 20KM.
