yaar as far as interior and exterior stylings are concerned then its a matter of personal choice. but if you talk about prices, engine tech and reliability then i must say that go for Vitz. according to me liana is nothing in front of Vitz. the only good feature of liana is cargo trunk which is not present in vitz. thats it. rest vitz has got vvt-i engine. available in following ccz 1000,1300. Vitz comes with airbags and ABS. in my opinion, excluding the interior and exterior styling, vitz is superb. vitz also comes in auto trans. its fuel effeciency is much more better than liana. i hope this is enough for you. rest as far as looks are concerned then yo're the only one to decide.

yaar 1st i want to emntion that vitz is from hatch class wheras liana a sedan.... liana is equipped with 1.6L M16A engine wheras Vitz comes In 1.0L 1SZ-FE and in 1.3L 2NZ-FE...both cars are differnt from each other....compare corolla with Liana....but Toyota is always superior from other....VVT-i Rulz.....

my vote goes to vitz.........theres no match to liana..cause i am importing vitz from japan and i have tested this car its amazing......more powerful and comfortable....as far as liana is concerned its a mixture of cars and thts all....vitz rulz...thnxx

sali2002, VTEC gives you more power, but in shorter rpm region. if u want power VTEC is there. VVTi is different.

1.3L 2SZ-FE VVT-i 2WD
1.3L 2NZ-FE VVT-i 4WD
1.5L 1NZ-FE VVT-i 2WD
check this variety given by Toyota VVT-i Rulz.while Liana is a Sedan if wnna go for sedan then compare Liana with Sedans otherwise Compare Vitz with Compact cars such as Chevy Excl,Santro,Cultus etc.etc.
one advice where ever u find VVT-i by Toyota just go for it.

well Toyoa vitz is really very fuel efficient aswell.
on 1.0L it does 22 Km on highway
on 1.3 2WD it does 21.5km/L on highway while in city 19.6km/L
with 1.3 4WD it does 16..0 km/L while on 1.5 it does 17.6 km/l and 18.6 km/l
while Vitz comes with TOYOTA INTELLIGENT IDELING STOP SYSTEM
IT HAS abs, aIRBAGS,Navigational system optional,a lot more comfort,very tough

dharjava!!! in Pak there's no navigational sys in vitz. Vitz rocks. Liana can't be matched with VITZ. Its just that they are demanding huge amount of money for nothing special.

Never bye A liana.Its a headache.I have one.bye a vitz i have avitz its far more comfortable than that shi**y liana.Go for a nice and clean vitz
