got the car today, much better than the auto rolla we had, very smooth gear shifts, don't feel them changing; feels like its being driven in a single gear, really cool, also its push start and has keyless entry so, being technophilic i find it a dream come true, and at such a low price! i love all the gadgets it holds; am truely amazed! still considering cng but i might not convert it. lets see who wins the battle: mind or the heart! will post pics soon, its 2005 model, imported and registered in may 2007, the guy who owned it has kept it really clean, its in almost perfect condition! just a small scratch on the bottom of front bumper. nothing else. a good clean car. has a spare key/remote as well. white colour. driven 23000 km; 15000 when it was imported. got it for Rs.695,000-
think its a good buy?
alteast i think it is, every other car i saw at any dealer was close to 8, if not more. with this one i just got lucky, was in market for a 2004 and had just left a dealers showroom when he calls me saying a guy has just brought a good clean 2005 that he wants to sell, i thought lets give it a try. well, i liked it instantly and after an hour of negotiating, mainly conducted by my father, the deal was struck at that amount, they wanted 725,000, we offered 675,000. deal got struck around the middle. so far no probs have come up. the car seems to be working perfectly. drove it for around 50 km so far today. hope it stays that way. it did not have its original cd player, guy who sold it said that the car came with a broken one so he replaced it with someting from another toyota that plays MD/cd and has DSP. all in all i consider it a good buy. i am totally satisfied. its the best car i have ever driven.(Y)
