well if u buy a branded/non-chinese cd/dvd/mp3/mp4/sd card/usb player with indash tft touch screen then you'd be paying close to 50,000 so i think 14500 for chinese is reasonable enough. btw the speakers and sub are kenwood not chinese.

thanks buddy for your detailed help . However some points i would like to share as well.

First the electrical surges . . . I found the fault my one of the battery terminal was a bit loose it is an electronic car and the battery can not be left loose in it the surges were because of that . . . Now those have disappeared . . .

The rpm drop thing i went to a toyota engineer he told me to get my throttle body washes with with a carb cleaner i did that now car is fine with that as well

bhai it is nddn-w56 it plays all god damn formats it is a navigator as well. No offense . . .
Anyway if any one has the problem of software in his dvd player i can solve that now i have bought the cd

Exactly the branded ones like pioneer and kenwood latest models are very much expensive which are'nt affordable to buy. But i found one addzest indash LCD wid GPS. Its price tag was 18k. Ya ur speakers and woofer are nice. But u should have gone for pioneer DVC 307 D4, its dual coil. Best of luck wid it.

Hei, well since yestrday my cars deck the orignal one, is giving me issues, that when the volume is high its okay, as soon as i decrease the volume to about 1/4, the cd ejects, and nun of the buttons work althoug if reinserted the cd works but no buttons work, i have installd a vdo card but the vcd is also okay, please help guys

Can you please elaborate a little more on the specifications of your new DVD player, like the screen resolution, viewing angle, GPS-navigation, software features,etc also if you can mention the exact model number please.

Please tell me if the navigator is of any use or how to make it usable. When I open my navigator screen I only see something written in Japanese and nothing else happens. I have heard that I can turn it in to a DVD player. Do tell me the cost and the level of modification required.

Guys I found a terrific site which has all sorts of Manuals for the Yaris 2007. There will be some differences but the basics are the same for the models 1999 to 2005. Do have a look at the owner's manual and repair manual.

once i faced the same problem but only buttons were not working cd was not ejecting automatically for solving it i opened the full console removed cd player and then opened its face panel and again fixed it and it got solved and as your cd is ejecting it self i think its because of the buttons malfunctioning.give it a try but do it carefully if you need any guidance on that procedure i'll guide you.

Is there any possibility to replace the CD player or the whole set (CD, Tape, FM) with new genuine one in VITZ 2001 model (which is concealed/ has covered fitting)?

How much it will cost and from where to buy in Karachi?

@optimum, agreed totaly, about the in dash screen thingy i wnt for it bcoz i had a ff. Lcd which was of no use so i spent another 1500 on and belive me i hardly use it and same is the case wid a friend who spent 15k for a dvd player, he dosnt evn drives his car any more, b.t.w u didnt replid hows ur vitz working on c.n.g em planing to get my car on c.n.g too...
