Trucking costs from khi to isb are in the 7 to 9k range, depending on type of truck and whether you get transit insurance.
Yes, the original plan was to drive to isb, but didn't work out due to other issues. So maybe next time!
@amoizpCheck-out NLC. They tend to be slightly better than the other transporters.
@amoizipI brought my car from khi to lhr thru NLC. cost me 7K. excellent transportation. no damage done. If God forbid somthing bad happens, NLC pays u. so it kind of insured. but do keep in mind, dont put ur LCD (if any) in the car, its usually stolen.
@amoizpcall alta on 03332135567 he transports cars from KHI to ISB all the time, i'm sure he can arrange something for you. he's sent both of my cars for me (with insurance) and they arrived perfectly.
Thanks for the number!! Will ask him.
@salman2k960 / @berryberryfast
Thanks. Let me know if you have any contact number for NLC.
What did you do about your broken windscreen?
One more thing... what about the dirt... was you car covered with dirt inside out when it got transported?
Went with nadeem 2 days back to get my vitz's plugs changed,... what's odd is that i got them changed approx 7500km ago from toyota but the state of the plugs told me that they had been driven approx 25000km..... makes me think toyota never changed them
hey guyz i,am going 2 fit the new tires in my vitz. which r dunlop sp sport 300, R15 195/55. is it ok to get those tyres?
@sdDO NOT fit 195/55R15's they will rub and are WAY too big for the car. if you wish to maintain a correct speedo reading etc then you'll have to fit 195/50R15's.
@Sameer bhai found the 5 rupee u were looking for? So the vitz is getting the service it needed. Goodluck with getting it back in form (Y)
@owais_yunusLOL! yeah i found the coin finally (Y)
next step is the oil, oil filter and air filter,... after that,... possible forced induction,... actually,... nah,... i'll just buy an air freshner for it,... LOL!!
Lol! Still that'll be a 10-15 horsepower gain.
@owaisjokes aside with just new plugs the car is FLYING (not as fast as yours) but ALOT faster (and smoother) than before.
Good to hear that. It should get even better after the oil and the filters are changed. You should get the cat removed too while u're at it.
@owaiswill get the cat out once i get a chance to drive the car (as you know it's the wifes car)
True. That I know
really? i'll check my plugs today.... i mean my car's
@sqahardo note i only fit some ordinary plugs because all these fancy plugs (like iridiums) make no difference to the 1sz-fe vitz engine. don't be fooled into buying expensive plugs for no reason, this is an economy engine not a highly tuned one with spark amplification.
and how about plug wires?
