headlights and bumpers of 2003-04 model can be fitted in 1999 model,dont know if the fittings are same or different but i have seen a few vitz with these upgrades!

Guys, i have vitz 2004. i have following questions
1. Want to get a maintenance checkup done of my car, i mean brake, oil, plugs, filter. please recommend any good place from where i can get these things done easily.

2.Another thing is that i m having problem with my car breaks, sometimes they just dont worky properly & this happens mostly while i m driving on CNG.
3. i was once driving fast on Shahra-e-faisal and suddenly i had to pull my breaks, as i pressed the break my car went a bit out of control, someone said ur car is giving tail (tail mar rahi hai) what does this means?

Bro ask some friend about checking oil just use the dipstick its real easy instructions are available online search them out, plugs should be changed every 30k to 40k change them accordingly, Air filter should be changed with every oil change after every 4k to 5k go to any well know mechanic is your area to get these things checked as these are very basic jobs.

The most possible reason for your brake problem is either your master brake cylinder or break booster is failing and only one front and the opposite rear tire has breaking this is only felt at speeds about 60 to 70 KPH.<o:p></o:p>

My advice is to change the master break cylinder as that is the problem in 90% of cases but before doing so do check the break booster for physical signs of ware and tare then master cylinder is removed and act accordingly and also have the break pads checked.<o:p></o:p>
I know the master cylinder and Booster will be a little costly but don’t go for used ones here as they often don’t work try to go for a new genuine Toyota product that will help you avoid future problems.

@shiraz, shair shah mei ziada tar saman 99-02 models ka hai. i only saw one shop having bumpers of 04 model altho didnt stop there. as u noe 90% parts are the same. besides bumpers, lites, grill, the interior upper dash, nd side mirrors in late models. nd also the rear antenna in 03-04 models.

@vajih, are u reffering to that u wana remove the orignal built in deck and put a normal deck and that u need a normal console?? well i gues those are avalible for 2 to 4 k depends on avalibility.

browns are very less probably ul get one at ur local kabar market. try their or ur deck wala. btw u can put the xplode deck in the place where they have the orignal navigation. and a glove box in cars widout navigation system

its nt hybrid actualy. hybrid drives on battery. this only switches to battery on faltu parking. u can reffer the google also for this.

eco means envirmental friendly not cng, if daihatsu coure comes wid cng as eco doesnt means eco stands for cng.

Does any of u have an idea if the fuel saver really works or the nano tech Super charger (which is connected between the engine and intake manifold - vaccum pipe ) really boosts the pick n speed ?

The 17'' are gonna kill your ride soon as they put constant stress on the cars suspenshion and also on the engine and gear box both of which have to work harder to pull the car unless you uprate the running gear and all a super changer or turbo, my advise try 15'' and by the way your car looks Hot ...

I don’t know about the super charger but I have tried a fuel saver back in the UK but trust me they are a waist of money as the one I installed did nothing 0% difference in fuel...

Guys, need your input on this please.

On my way to the coastal highway balochistan, i was driving my vitz on petrol, due to the wind pressure and all, the car would not do more than 130km/h on petrol 4th gear (automatic), although if i floor the accelerator it would downshift and gain more speed but 4th gear would not go beyond 130km/h with only 3 average size people and no luggage.

So how can i remove the speed limiter, as i'm sure its the speed limiter that kicks in and limits the car's speed on auto gears or is there anyway around it so i can go above 130km/h easily.

Yes there are turbo kits available but not in Pakistan, a good Turbo kit costs around £1200 in the UK that’s almost 1.5 lacs and can be imported a cheaper alternative is a old turbo such as a GARRETT AR/48 these are available in Karachi, you should be able to get this turbo at any good parts market in your city but remember fittings to fit the turbo will have to be custom made and its not a easy job...
