For everyone's information, have changed the below mentioned things

1. Engine Oil. Castrol Magnetic 10W-40, 4 Liters. Rs. 1700
2. Oil Filter. Leppon. Rs. 250
3. Transmission Fluid. Caltex Texamatic 1888. Rs. 500 per liter x 2 = Rs 1000
4. Coolant. Osaka. Rs. 80 per bottle x 2 = Rs 160
5. Air Filter. Local Rs. 250

Dear Members,

i have checked throughly Lahore market for vitz model 2007 purchase, i am getting these following prices of different colours with navigation system

Vitz 07 white colour 950k
vitz 07 silver colour 960k
vitz 07 gun metalic 970 k

I just need your opinion is this price good for lahore market because somebody told to visit Karachi market, he said might i get lower price than lahore.

3L of engine oil is more then enough for any 1000cc car.

Secondly, Transmission oil is wrong, you should have had gone for Toyota T-IV only. If u got the wrong oil it can mess with your cars transmission.

Some body please tell me should i change the cars coolent?? My car since i bought it has its orignal orange colored coolant, once i added a bit of Caltex orange coolant in the reserve bottle since then it hasnt been less or lost its color. its been around 4 years since i have the car. awaiting replies

Those prices are very good,just make sure that the car doesnt have any major touch ups or work done on it.

i Bought vitz 05 special edition last summer,
one thing, i still cant sort out is , on its metre (where u can see the mileage) , odo is written , while , when u press mode, there comes eco as well,,,,

As one of ma friend told me, this odo means over drive sumthin, while eco means economic ,
and theres hell of a difference wen u drive on either option ,,,,

i Just want to confirm, if there's something like that in Vitz (new shaped) ???

Yes you should change the coolant. If it has gone orange that means it needs a change. The original color is Pink.

Yes you should change the coolant. If it has gone orange that means it needs a change. The original color is Pink.

I recently changed the coolant on my 2004 Vitz. The four liter bottle of original from the toyota dealer ship cost me 2,400 Rs.

Its the same color since day one. Its not rusty orange, its Orange orange. (keenu/musami wala Orange color)

the !st pic is normally when i drive car, Showin odo ,
While second one came up, when i pushed the little knob (normally meter reset one) , and theres also 3rd optiion , that shows just ECO in the small lcd...

I believe that little knob used 4 resting metre , is not used 4 changing odo to eco .....
and there;s no button , on gear .....

Ma friend's got terios , n he's havin it on gear ...

Jahan tak i noe In the new GEN Vitz there comes an intellegence model, which works as an hybrid car, the car turns off if in completly standing position and gives all the load to the battery to safe fuel. But such Vitzes have a seperate Battery.

Other then that some body owning the car might help. The battery sign with the ECO sign seems that my guess is right but still im not realy sure

Or maybe the car runs more economic on the overdrive, as in high end luxury cars there a button to switch between sports and normal mode. In auto tranny cars.

As i read in older post that if you have recent model (2005 and newer) you dont need it change the oil as it is WS and it is valid for 5 lakh KMS

If anyone can confirm
