Dear Fellows,

I am interested to sell my vitz 2002 and 2007 registered having sun roof and its RS version with A/T. additional things are sunroof, expensive rims plus michells tyres, spoiler, HID and LED lights, glowing door panels with vitz marking and has a indash DVD player which comes in Premio.

I want your advise regarding the asking price as its in outstanding condition which you can see from attached pics it is driven 115,000 km

One more thing CNG is installed as well. . . in my ride but i never run it on CNG as have removed the cylender but kit is installed and cylinder is also available with me.

Thanks ROMS!!! So if I understand correctly, this O2 emulator works only when you drive on CNG and reports the correct readings on CNG. On petrol the readings are taken from the sensor itself. Right? Could you recommend a good place/mechanic where I could get this emulator ... and any specific brand that I should look for?

Yeah right, when the cng switch is pressed and the car converts to cng, the emulator cuts off the power to injectors and sends the ECU that they are working ok, in the mean time cng is fed via intake manifold venturi.

The o2 emulator becomes active when injectors are cut and desired signal is sent to ecu that AFR is ok.

I bought vitz 2007 arnd 2.5 years ago.since thn it never gave any prblm .car has done arnd 45000km i bought it at 38000 .since last week whn i start k car it vibrates too much.and whn i change gear to D or R or any other the vibration increase and same thing happen whn i stop at any signal.it happn whn a.c is off with a.c on the car give no issue of this type..

BTW i went to sialkot on my VITZ 08 and i got an average of 16km/l 560KM in 35L with AC
On the way back i got the car tank full and then again refilled it in LODHRAN
540km in 34 L with AC 15.88KM/L

Hi,

I recently bought an unregistered Vitz 2007 1000cc (new shape). I am facing some pick issues. When I apply the brake, even after releasing the brake pedal, car still tries to decelerate (seems to be heavily loaded). The pick becomes zero and then I've to accelerate it more than normal to make the car move.

Sometimes, even without applying brake, when I release my accelerator, car seems to be heavily loaded for a few seconds, then it becomes normal.

Any idea, what is happening..?

I read on one of your posts above about trans oil change that there is a check valve on the side of the engine. Is that the nut on the right side with TC written on it?

If so what is the purpose of the check valve. And also how do you prevent an overfill after opening and draining the sump?

Well i dont know if TC is written on it or net but it is a nut facing towards right.

Yes i saw that link of Shoaib its very good. There is a nut on the right side that says TC so I dont know what that means. Is that the nut that the Toyota or workshop people check the condition to see if the CVT transmission needs changing?

Hi,

I recently got Vitz 2008 and didn't receive the main key containing remote buttons. The dealer told my father that the car has central locking but it cannot be used until I have same frequency key.

Can anyone help me where can we get key for my car ? or even if it's possible to make a new key ?

one of my friend recently installed central locking in his cultus, can I do that in Vitz ? would it be expensive ?

Did you get your battery changed?
And get your car's ECU reprogrammed! that solved my issue

hey guys...i also own a vitz...but some problems are occurring....i hear some bad knocking sound from the engine when speed is between 40 to 60,also when u put it in neutral.....give some gas to half...again the sound is created,i went to a mechanic and he suggested that the cars piston are loose :o
later when i was putting in petrol....the guy came and told me to put high octane everytime because customers are complaining about knocking sounds from their engines.......does the knocking sound have a link to high octane?? help a vitz owner out:( it's a 2006 model

Loose piston -> LOL. Pakistani mechanics rock!!!!!

The main reason for knocking is combination of small engine and bad patrol in Pakistan. This is happening to most of people with 1000 CC Vitz 2006 onward.

Since you cannot change engine, you are left with only one option: Use good quality petrol only (I use caltex) and once in a month put 500 Rs worth Hi Octane.
