during the whole 4500-5000 km it reduces almost 0.75-1 litre engine oil...

i also had a 2005 vitz, it did the same thing to the oil after 120,000 km on the odo meter. so if you completely rev the car there would be white/blueish smoke from the silencer. the amount of oil your car is reducing i think you have 3 options from the most expensive to the least.

1. replace your car.
2. find a kabliee engine
3. engine over all
4. continue driving it, change it when your engine totally gives up.

and im no expert. just giving my opinion

In my opinion this is normal or negligible amount of oil consumption. Although it may be a sign of minor weakness in piston RINGS. You dont need to worry about it, as many car manufacturers would consider this much of oil consumption normal.

Rings and Pistons dont just go dead, If your cars giving smoke, Get it checked, Maybe the Valve seals are worn out, Their is sufficient safety measures in an engine to save it so easily.

I have purchased my Vitz 2006 1.3. It is not giving good fuel efficiency. I made a round trip to Lahore and i observed avg as 12.5km/l. In city it is giving approx 11 km/l. What should i do to improve the fuel efficiency. I have visited Toyota and got the engine tune up but no result. Technician asked me to go for the catalytic cleaning. Is it possible to clean it coz i have heard that it is either removed or changed. and does it contribute to better fuel average??

the general perception of vitz catalytic converter it to break/remove it. my previous 2005 vitz didn't have one, i had engine vibration problem, varied throttle to acceleration response etc but the sound was taken care of with an extra dholkiee. the new one i just imported (2008) has its catalytic converter and don't feel the need to remove/clean it yet, but in time i will.

my question from experts is that there're two o2 sensors in vitz one before the catalytic converter, the visible one and one after the catalytic converter. in essence assuming the catalytic converter is installed both of the sensors will get different readings but if it is removed they essentially will be getting the same reading. so why do people still insist on removing it?

advice please?

It has 2 Sensors because it has 2 Cat convertors

This is just a audio check button thats it, No Wifi press it and the audio goes like bhuzzzzzzzzzz thats it. (as if an untuned radio station)

Shell Helix (HX7) 5W-30 API SN, is fine, i am using it currently... but when it comes to FILTERS, buddy i must tell you usually you will find the fakest of fake filters at Shell pumps.

Thanks Chinyoti... but i presume it must have some function. I cant get my hands on any manual for this Fujitsu ten Toyota model Audio player. But lets see if anyone has an expertise in knowing whats it real function is....

Its just a audio check button, I have it my 2002 Vitz aswell, Il try to post a pic if possible.

this button is used to switch to the "TRAFFIC INFO" radio channel, which announces the weather conditions, accidents, any traffic updates in that area, but unfortunately we have no such service here in pak.

get a frequency converter installed between the antenna wire.
it will just cost you about 200-400 Rs.
