Need lil assistance from vitz owners.. we have decided to get one probably 2010 model from KHI (unregd.)..
what you people is it wise decision to go for it in this price range ?? it would be used for family so i am much concerned about its comfort , a.c , pick , petrol avg. in city as well as in long routes etc etc.. what you people say are good and bad points of vitz ? and most importantly what should be checked while buying an imported car ?

yes change it as a must if its cvt use cvt oil n oil change needed every 40k mileage

ill say do go for it great car , negative point i feel 1l a lil underpowered n slightly more vibrations in 1L ill suggest u to go for 1.3 variant

Bt the owner said to me tht itz not recommended to change the transmission Oil as mentioned in the service manual?? only u have to change the Engine Oil after every 4K.

secondly how to identify the chocked Catalytic Converter. as i am driving 1.3L vitz for the first time

brother it depends ! i have 1L variant , m a slow driver for me its more thn enuf m happy wid its acceleration n speed the only thing dat bothers me sometimes is the eng vibrations !
i have taken my vits wid 5 person n luggage to nathiagali n kaghan naran widout having any issues of power
but if ur a fast drive do go for 1.3 !
yes 1.0 is cvt ! u get simple auto onlly in 1.3 4wd !
comfort its quite good !
suspension according to me is much softer thn new city ! n ill say a bit harder thn new pkdm corolla !
comfort n safety top notch !

iill advise to change it anyway ! no harm in changing it ! dun go for the odometer reading !
yup it needs replacement every 40,000 km !

no idea how to check that , i just removed mine's catalytic converters on day 1 n happily driving it since !

salman bhai, very true , roads condition , traffic conditions play a vital role in getting good fuel avg , luckily we having bit better roads in lahore and also car mostly driven in lahore cantt area, gulburg so roads much better with reasonable traffic conditions

i am fan of fully synthetic oils as my city also giving me 15km/l in manual gear , my corolla 13/14 km/l easily

I bought a 1.0 litre Vitz 2007, imported in 2012 recently. But I don't know what is its package or trim as I am confused about various options it has. My vitz has following:
1. It has intelligent package i.e. if A/c Compressor isn't working and car is stopped, the engine automatically goes to ECO mode. It automatically restarts as soon as I take off my foot from brake.
2. It has 2 Air Bags or atleast thatss all i've noticed so far.
3. Retractable side view mirrors but without indicators on the side view mirror
4. Radio and CD player but without Navigation/Backview etc
5. Rear and back windows are tinted
6. Climate Control A/c.
