i have vitz 2010 there are two problem which i m facing

1.when the car is cold in the morning and i start driving it makes noises when i press the pedal like chiii chiiiii and after some time when the cool indication on the meter disappear then the engine sound come to its normal position

2.when the car is few kilo meter driven then it vibrates as i put more load like put the head light on or anything else.

i want the expert person to put some light on it

Guys, I am facing a Problem. Its Vitz 2008 1000 cc & I am unable to get the pick/speed even if i push the throttle to max. It really gives you a bad driving experience especially when you really want quick acceleration in order to overtake.

I recently did the computerize check (Tuning) & the guy found nothing. Plug's were cleaned. He recommended some injector cleaner fluid & pour it in the fuel tank.

I Use regular fuel combined with high octane.

Engine oil is Imported (golden packing) 5W-40 Caltex; changed 2,700 KM back.

Any suggestion would be really appreciated.

replace ur cvt fluid if its over due !
n u need to adopt ur driving style to cvt tranny, dey kinda response differnetly compared to conventional auto trannys

u can only chk it via car mileage , it needs replacement every 40k kilometers , doesnt has a dipstick or anything

well for starters , it doesnt downshift n push u baq into the seat

if u fully press the pedal it just revs up going nowhere
either wait for a while after reving up it starts accelerating after sumwhile
or press 2/3rd pedal i feel dat way it responds better or shift to S

Thanks Salman - Yes, I think CVT fluid is over due now. How much will it cost from Toyota guys ? what percentage impact does CVT oil change has on Acceleration ?

whn i replaced it , the 4 litre can costed 3700rs !
rest labour charges etc
there is full thread regarding cvt fluid change in vitz/belta cvt tranny on pakwheels !
better get the tranny fluid filter cleaned as well

Dear All ....i just bought a vitz 2008model and 2013reg. the car is Mashallah Total genuine ....now i need to do some little work with the car.
1)General cleaning of the car inside+outside to get a fresh look and feel.
2)want to change engine oil+air filter (which oil and filter to use) and from where in Rawalpindi i can get that done..Recommend the best oil and oil+air filter.
3)the cvt oil...should i change it ??if yes then which 1 andfrom where.
4)The back view mirrorof my car has been removed by the service station boy....now whereto get it fixed again??and how is it fixedwith the wind screen..with any elfy thingy or wot??
5)currently my car has 14'' alloywheels with dunlop 185/65 size is this fine??or should i go for some change ....mostly i often drive to azad kashmir but roads are fine enough so considering that the size is ok or not??
6)From where to get the Good Quality Air press for vitz??
7)headlights are good enough should i go for hids?? if yes then which one and from where i can get those??
8)what about hi octane should i use it every time i refill or how??
9)what should be the avergae milege for the vitz??so i may check what milege am getting...

Dear Brother Congrats for the Vitz.
I cant guide u for All the matters u asked. But I will share my experience for some matters, i.e.

U should Service the Car with a good Service Station, n Polish it properly, A Wax will be appreciated if needed.
Tire Size for ur Requirement is 185/70 R14. else the car will hit from Below due to Low Ground Clearance. GT Radial Champiro Eco are best in my opinion.
Milage of a Good Vitz is 12 to 14 km per litre in big cities where there are signals with crowds.
I dont think to change CVT oil yet.
Mobil 1 Plus is recomeended if Genuine available. Else Caltex Havoline. Standard is 5w-30 Quantity 3.1 litres
Hi Octane is not must, Get Filled ur fuel tank from a Good TOTAL PARCO station every time, u will get good results.
HIDS are not recommended ethically, Ur Genuine headlights with focus adjustment is best i.e. OEM.

I have vitz 2006, Lahore Registered 2012, Silver, All Genuine except New Tyres recently changed. You can get it Final in Rs. 1,050,000 which is near to my cost. Fresh Drive. Genuine milage 61000 km now.

Need urgent help i bought a 2006 model vitz 1300cc n i have installed cng in it now can any one tell me weather it has cvt transmission or not.. Or does 1300 cc has any issue on cng as i have heard that it also has cvt n cng will destroy the gear...

Please do not even think about getting ANY kind of Amnesty Scheme vehicle, the Amnesty Scheme registration counter is closed for registration.

A friend of mine recently sold his '96 SSR-G Surf on loss basis, only because the registration counters were ordered to be closed. They might never open again.
