First of all salam and eid mubarik to you all. I ve been away for long but been reading all the posts.
I ve read somedody asked about OD button on the vitz... friends I dont remember the post but I saw pictures of the vitz manual over here that say OD is only for the fourth gear ..... nothing to do with performance and economy or stuff like that..... OD on you get fourth gear shift OD off you only go till 3rd gear..... thats it no more science.
About the Oils ZIC, Mobil 1, Castrol Magnatec are Synthatic oils CXT, Helix are Natural Oils once you,ve changed to synthatic you cant go back to natural that distroys your engine..... synthatic gives more milage per change.... Naturals are only worth 3000 to 3500 KMs then you change both filter and oil. I recommend Mobil1 or Castrol Magnatec they are available here. I would've said AMSOIL but thats not available.
Fuel ---- Octane is good and expensive... super will do the job but mixing sometimes 50/50 can help clean the fuel injectors and throtle body systems (desi tareeka)
CNG is not my choice in Vitz because you are going to cut off the technology involved in the ECU and fool it with an Emulator and Lemda.
Tyres.... well against every one's advice I've Installed 195/60 - 15. I know all of you are true about touching body, suspention issues and the speed o meter....... but only me, my wife and my little daughter travel in the car and I am not a rash driver so I am satisfied that they might save my life someday.
Lots of common problems are arising in vitz as I ve read over here. These are expensive cars to keep so Buyers do keep this in mind.
Now Finally I would like all of you to please answer One thing ....................... Can i know any Work shop with all the gadgets and experties to check up this car. Islamabad or Lahore is not the Issue.
