Last week I went for changing my Vitz tires. At the shop I came across a set of rims which I liked and so changed the rims as well. OEM rims are 5J in width while the alloy rims are 5.5J. At that time I didn't give it much thought but now I feel that rims are slightly bulging out. I can also sometimes hear sudden "tick sound" when I press the brake pedal, especially when parking the car in the garage. Are these slightly wider (5.5J) rims going to effect the suspension in the long run or is it fine to have such a minor width alteration??

indeed, how is the quality and can you tell me price? these days **** quality alloys are available a lot.

Quality is fine. These are light weight Tiawan made slightly used RIMs. Got them from Hassan Traders in Faisal Town. Before buying I properly checked them. By chance I was accompanied by a bro's frnd who knows a lot about alloys. He also checked them and passed them on quality. Asking price was 18k, after some negotiation I paid 14k plus old rims.

odo reading of car?
People usually use 5w30 grade. In that you can get shell,zic, mobil etc. I use Mobil Super 2000 5w30 semi syn. For vibration, check plugs or do idle relearn procedure which can be found online

From where i can get this compression test in Karachi? is Compression test tell the entire story of white smoke which appeared at times? or due to weak valve seals or piston ring or both or non so that a owner can spend wisely anyway .

Check the Spark plugs condition, if worn out, Change them. Change oil on Time (About 3000 to 4000 Kms) If Problem exists, then use Toyota Petron Multigrade oil 20W50. Never Give heavy throttle on parked car.

Thanks Brother for the response i just bought this car and its was not giving any smoke or i have not seen smoke at the time of purchasing, i have change its spark plug also put 5w30 shell oil now initially mechanic put some zic oil which one he put i dont know exactly, but once i saw the smoke on heavy throttle i immediately visit to another mechanic and he told me to used only recommended oil only, however its not giving any smoke on moving condition, now i am worried that is its engine is week or there is some thing else, as i am totally unaware of vitz mechanism.

As u said, your vitz has no issue. But this situation shows that the Engine rings need a bit thicker oil otherwise the Crank will start making noise continuously , and soon the Engine will need overhauling or replacement. 5W30 is for low mileage or newer cars.

yeah i havent seen any issue in its pick nor he knocks or vibrate (In idle position), ODO meter shows 45 K but now its seems to be meter reverted may be
do i need to change again its engine oil?
or go for compression test, as i wanted to avoid engine replacement any how.

Yes these are normally reversed meter. No need for compression test. Use 1 grade thicker oil. and high octane as much as u can. No further tension. Cheers...

Means if using 5W 30 then go for 10W 40. or Toyota Petron Multigrade 20W 50 .
