Yeah. It does look expensive but then again I had to get other things sorted from them. If you find any other place that offers cheap scanning, do let me know.

At lahore we have many places.. they charge 500 for thorotle body service with scanning.

Found this thing on pw forums.. my car rpm remain high and drive felt heavy so I tried this thing.. it worked.
Car response is better now.. pick is better now.. on light foot car speed is increased. Fuel consumption is beter then before. Within city got 12.47 with ac on and it was hardly 11 before.
so sharring this may be some one also get benefits. As I did Alhamdulilah.

got my ride height increased. added spacer an all shocks. i was going to change the springs n put stiffer ones but the mechanic went against it n told me to keep the original one.
now the car again has the normal height it had before cng.

like chinyoti mentioned Khan motors is on korangi road. i havent taken my vitz to him yet but my bimmer has a regular check up with him.
hes really expensive and will charge a lot even for minute things(he charged me 4500 just to tighten a loose nut, not exagerating). its not a lot different than most other mechanics, the only difference is his experience with complicated cars. dont know a lot who take their vitz to him but i see alot of mercs bimmers n lexus at his shop.
If any of PW members visit him i would suggest to check the car thoroughly if u leave i with him. the last time i left my car i had a missing rear light bulb.

currently im going to sami bhai in defence phase 2 extension. he too worked for khan motors but now has his own work shop. my cousin is very pleased with his work since the past half yearand hes pleased,and he doesnt charge like khan motors.

Please get it checked by a good Electrician, Bcoz a little spark can result in Total Loss of Car by Fire (God Forbid). Dont ignore this sign.

Opens the driving door when ur remotes battery dies

To start the car u still use the remote by placing it front of the button

Side with Toyota emblem facing the push button

I m facing an issue that for last 5-6 days, after my vitz 2007 travels 2-3 kms, suddenly there is a sound of knocking and engine check light gets on. I got it checked through scanner and code was 0403. It is regatding EGR. Just to know what shud i do? Can any one attach a pic and tell me where is this EGR located in the engine and gow to open and clean it....

Aoa. I know these are going to be very basic question and pardon me for my lack of knowledge. I am going through this thread slowly and throughly but couldn't find answer yet. I want to know step by step "how to open bonnet of vitz 2004". Plus what should be used for radiator? Coolant, which one?
Moreover what about petrol and hi-octane thing. Should i keep the ration of 70:30 thing as few suggested or it is not effective for a 1.0? And at last how much time or mileage i should give to my car for routine maintenance like oil changes etc.
P.S. i am totally naive as far as automatic cars are concerned. Plus i googled as well but could not find answer that y bothering the experts for minor quries.

Here is how to open the bonnet:

Your Vitz 2004 is 4 cylinder it runs well on the regular petrol. Oil change interval depends upon oil quality you are using, but normally its is 5000 KM,also replace oil filter. Air filter should be every inspected regularly and replaced/cleaned as needed.

WKS, on the drive side lean down and you will see the square switch, plastic tab , pull it, this will open hood, and then find the lever in middle when standing at hood and push it forward to unlock.

Use Caltex Coolant 50% solution and 50% water
Technically there is no use of hi octane for vItz, you are just paying extra cost, hi octane, meant for performance engine, you are just wasting fuel

use youtube , you will many productive videos
