Friend needs suggestions about to increase ground clearance of my vitz2013. Live in rural area, many small and large bums gives me a lot of trouble when car is loaded with 5 passengers. What is the best way (also economical) to increase car lift.

use 15 inch rims with 195 65 R 15. But Rims Width should not be more than 6jj.

Installing spacers is the cheapest option. But it's not recommended

AoA bros. Need kind info and advice on both 3rd gen. As in which is the best version to get?
Have an offer of 13lac 2011 model, ibd registered it's not jewela. I think probably F.
Secondly what is classification of 3rd gen like 2nd gen had clear cut b,u,f,fl,rs etc. Have been googling a lot and also seraching pw and olx of some clear cut identification procedure.
Lastly which 3rd gen vitz has buttons on steering?
My budget is max 13 but want a fully loaded and multimedia steering one... Possible or out of my league...? Thanking in advance and awaiting reply... Peace

wa salam, I went for the second option (Upsize Tyre) 185-70-14, so i can only tell you advantage and disadvantage of that. with previous size 185-65-14 it was must that the car would touch breakers, with the upsize now its not must and i can get away nearly all of the speed breakers with 5 people aboard.

disadvantage is that ABS is not what it was before, tyres lock up, before ABS would kick in and do its thing, now it does come in to play but some times tyres get locked up.

slight less disadvantage is about the speedometer, you have to know your actuall speed so you dont get challan for over speeding.

Yes u can use 185 70 R14. But it can touch Breakers with 2 people on Back Seat.

1 thing i am not understanding is about actual speed. Whts the impact of Bigger Tyres on speedometer. ? If meter is fine then it will tell u actual speed, either tyres are low profile or High profile.

speedometer is calibrated according to your original tyre size, when you increase or decrease tyre size then its not the actual speed. just google it and you will understand.

I think it is not good that ABS is disturbed, ABS is the one of main safety feature, By the way what could causes ABS to disturb. Extra width of up-size car or Extra Speed?
