if idle is still not ok just get the throttle body clean and remove battery terminal for 5 mins and than re connect.

drive it as per normal routine for 1-2 days. ECU automatically get new values from sensors and will calibrate the idle and other setting etc.

no issue just let the ecu work for a day or two after reset.

Bro, please have a look at following:

I would suggest to disconnect one of the battery terminals (the one, near to fender with less cables), and keep it disconnected for sufficient time (I do it at night and connect in the morning). Reconnect the cable and perform above mentioned procedure. May be, the situation becomes better.

Todays update is i hc checked oil level and its slighlty higher than 2nd hole. Actually the oil color is very light so its difficult to judge the exact level. Hoever i believe on the level i noticed. I hvnt drriven the car yet bcz i do drive only on week end as i hv pick n drop facility.
i kept the car started for few mins and after warming up the engine i have noticed little vibration which u guys say vitz engine has that issue.
pls adv opinion.

Ok here is the procedure

When you service the TB and doesn't reset the ecu the target rpm raises upto 900-1100 to compensate this high rpm after TB service we reset the vehicle from battery cables disconnection. After restart the rpm again drops down to 700 which is initially low but it would stabilized after 2 days of regular drive. Remember no throttle relearn procedure is available for Toyota vitz upto 2010 model it do relearn on its own after TB service.

But if you are still facing the vibration issue after TB service then following could be possible faults.
1: clogged Catalytic Converter or Totally No CAT present in Exaust Manifold.
2: faulty alternator unit causing extra load on your engine due to miscalculated duty ratios.
3: worn out Cylinder bore.

These three are the only reasons due to which 1kr vibrate's after TB service.

Asbi mentioned up...After servixing of throttle he did scanning and cleared some errors i dont know which kind of errors but he said ABS and Air Bags.
after that the car started missing and went off and showing engine light. He removed battery terminals and then placed again and engine light gone and car started in normal way.
do u want me to remove battery terminal now or after few drives as i get long drives only in week ends...

No need to remove the terminals now just drive it and it would get fine If not then go for the Alternator testing will post a link to the video here.

Guys we had been listing good petrol pumps of the twin Cities.
I had opted for H8 Isb Attock pump.. it had been giving a very good fuel avg. But unfortunately my vitz 2015 (Very less on ODO) has started showing signs of very small knocking as i ve started using AC now . .
I guess i had read in some other vitz thread that h8 attock causes knocking... ??
This problem has arrived like three months after the import. Rest everything is perfect.
Today i had pumped injector cleaner..
But now i think i will have to change the petrol station.
Move to F6 Total / Shell.
This is really a bad n sad part n i am really worried now. These are the cons of 1000cc JDMs.
Guidance from senior pak wheelers n vitz gurus will be highly appreciated.

I used to have the knocking issue in my vitz 2006/12. Tried everything from changing the engine assembly, gearbox, checked all the sensors, thorough inspection of suspension, fuel pump, changed ECU, changed all engine mounts ,tried petrol from different pumps and many other things that I don't remember right now but couldn't solve this knocking issue. I tried not less than 20 mechanics but none of them had any clue about this knocking issue. Eventually i sold the vehicle.

What's the engine oil Viscosity you are using???
Ok now comes toward the knock problem don't use high octane fuel in urban driving conditions.

Now for the small persistent knock problem you had to perform engine carbon treatment by inducing CC cleaning agent through Intake manifold which would remove the excessive deposits from CC and will enhance the driveabilty and suppress the octane knock.

And in last do perform a breif scan job and analyze the parameters for any possible hidden lags.

Well the knock you were facing is known as rod knock or piston slap. Usually occurs when bore of cylinder gets detoriated. The simple solution to that is engine rebuild scrap engine imports are of no use to counter this problem. Bad to heard about your loss on wrong diagnostic's of mechanics.

I am using Liquimoly 5w-30
This is the octane knock i am having ??
Carbon cleaning agentt rightt.
I don't use full high-octane. I mix it like 1000Rs thats it.
Most of the people say use high-octane always. U r telling something opposite.

Use only 0W-20 in your vehicle LM is a damn old Tech oil for your vehicle if no Other brand is available always stick to Toyota Oem Tin Pack 0W-20.

And for the high octane usage thay causes excessive amounts of soot layers in CC ( Combustion Chambers )
Which in end results in octane knock.

Others just follow the recommendation from other. I maintain these vehicles and troubleshooting is my hobby in these cases and I do see 60-70 vehicles per month of same issues like you had and my advice is derived from my experience of past.
