Owner manual info is like shu shu to its customers who ask different questions regarding what viscosity should be used in the engine

Usually a loss of pressure after warm up is bad crank bearings - what oil is used and what is the oil pressure?

Toyota have specced a very low pressure for the 3UR at hot idle though. - btw - the oil pump is not all that good on 3UR either.

No problem but remember always smoke test your vehicle engine before changing the oil Viscosities.

The viscosity used in first brekin was 0w20 APi SN

And the pressure drops to 40 psi at 4000 rpm range I am also suspecting main crank shafts bearings as I had installed oversize bearings and couldn't get the plasti gauge readings as my supervisor was on charasssss dose.

It just has an earlier change interval than the toyota moly infused 0W20 - and the 5w30 makes it run slightly quieter too.

To be honest the 1KR sounds like a bucket of bolts anyway - its a garbage engine. Using 5w30 will make it sounds like there are 8 bolts in a bucket, with the 0W20 it will sound like 9 bolts in the bucket. - the 0w20 will start easier and save you money on fuel too as its very thin on startup.

Assalamualiekum, sorry for being off topic, I do have a 2009 vitz using 5w30 in it but I need suggestion for what oil should I use in my 2003 honda accord type s k24 (A3) i guess.

And secondly both the cars being driven on totally high octane, should I stop using high octane on both and what are the consequences?

Engine is replaced so not sure about its mileage but apparently is in pristine condition,1500 kms driven locally, I am using Lm10w40.

Both the cars are being used on urban routes.

LM 10W40 leceitlauf is honestly a junk oil for your engine. Same is the story for 10W40 MOS2 which is premixed in Leceitlauf.

Try to find Valvoline 10W40 durablend in your city and use it you will enjoy the ride and smotheness.

I'll try to find out, if you know any dealer in Karachi so please let me know and secondly I asked my all cars are continuously driven on high octane (total excellium mostly).
Is it ok?
