Assalam o alaikum guys. I have purchased vitz 2007 model 2012 registered 113000kms done on the odo. I noticed that car is just not good in its pick and on motorway on 120speed check engine light on about for 10-15 minutes and vanished it happend again after somewhile and this time it vanished about in 2 minutes. Please suggest what should I do? Suggest solution otherthan OBD scanner because its OBD scanner port is also not working.

yes rehman autos is legit and owned by a pakwheeler @rajaatta who is a very nice and knowledgeable man. I visited him once and he tendered me a honest advice regarding my vitz pcv valve

Please let me know where and how Motorclean’s scam exists. I have over a 100+ cars serviced by them and each referral brings 5 more in. A person sitting in the US with an horrid ego who is hesitant to visit himself to the branches even when offered multiple times and easily calls and tries to enforce his biased opinions on others. And if you call them out they put blames that one is being paid to market the latter.

Afsoos hota hai sir such people exist on PW forums though knowledgeable no doubt being a senior PWer but such one sided rigidness is of no good. I know Shahzad bhai who runs MotorClean and is a gem of a person.

And as for his services, no acid washes or as such whatsoever. I’ve heard claims people sell the very kachra that comes out of the catcon. Sir dabbay mein aapko band ker ke dien gay he has no use of caked up deposits.

Please stop these kind of incorrect discussions. @Xulfiqar is a legend in each field of automotive industry. And if you are present in europe or US then you would know the true reality of emission related services. No doubt motorclean is provoding good services for clogged converters but still the procedure has lags in itself. So stop this discussion and observe what he is telling us about. Because this forum is about to get the services done in OEM manners and accurate according to book. So please next time before pointing out any thing about xulfiqar please consider that he is the most experienced person on Pakwheels and helping each of us from his most bussiest schedule of his work and life.

It depends on are you saving some money and doing a DIY Job. Then it would be a catastrophie for the cat itself.

And if you follow an expert advice and have some experience of servicing and doing a DIY at home then yes it can work

I have installed new tyre with alloy rims. On 120Km the car steering starts vibration. Does it need the wheel balancing, or anything else.
Please guide.

Nathia gali, murree, done with full loads, yeah it can go. Use S mode.

But keep in mind it's 1.0 with a heavy body so obviously won't be very smooth and may need to press the pedal hard at steep climbs, go without stopping in the middle of an incline.

S and B modes are actually for coming down. for climbing you can go in D. it works fine.

B is for downhill. S can also be used if not too steep downhill, like motorway kalar kahar.

S is called sports mode. Great for climbing as you get more torque.
For steep climbs Vitz is underpowered in D. Just going to ruin the transmission. And no fun either. Murree via isb is not steep so D might work. Not nathia gali from abtd.

i dont think so however as per my experience S only doesnt let the RPM come down and keep the car a bit raced or in optimum torque band.

it can be used for climbing however its not sports mode rather its steep mode.

better to use S and B for climbing down. incase of going up D works fine as per my experience.

I think S stands for Sports mode, in most of the cars equipped with CVT.

S and B, both can be used for uphill as well as downhill. It all depends on the slope, and weight loaded in the vehicle (the weight of passengers, luggage, etc.).

In D mode, sometimes Vitz struggles in going uphill / up-slope, and may result in damage to the CVT (and I am saying it all based on my experiences).

Unless / until absolutely necessary, a vehicle may not be continuously driven in S and B modes for long at high rpms. It may result in damage to the CVT steel belt.
