What if I tell you guys that my car was consuming more oil on 20w50 and less oil on 5w30 and further less oil on 0w20. This happened and took only this daring step only because of the guidance of sir @Xulfiqar and ma sha Allah my car is now nimble and efficient with more than 100k on clock and using 0w20 fully synthetic api sn plus. It is consuming 1 litre during 5k kms which is considered as normal for 1krfe.

I drive a vitz 2012 model some of my friends say that your car's shock absorbers need to be replaced however I haven't felt any major jerks or anything
But yes I feel that while crossing cat eyes the cars vibrates and when hitting a pot holes the sound of jerk can be felt inside the car
As this is my first ever ride I don't know if my friends are right or not
Ps I know if I go to a mech and ask for advice he will definitely advise to change
So what should be done plz advice

I think, its fine. Nothing to worry about.

Just keep an eye on it, and keep on checking its level regularly.

If it drops to the point of reaching the min. mark, and 5,000 Kms have also not been passed since last oil change, then simply top-up.

Only change oil + oil filter, when 5,000 Kms / 06 months have been passed. If oil level drops in-between, simply top it up.

Recently I got my steering rack replaced in vitz 2012 and have done wheel alignment and balancing
But now I feel that the steering needs to be turned more than usual to negotiate a turn
Is it normal or is there a problem?
Please help as mechanics to apni dehari k chakar mai hai

did you install the same kind of rack? - some cars have short geared rack to ease driving while some cars have a tall geared rack.

e.g. Corolla XRS with 2ZZ engine has a sharper turn rack (short geared) - meaning it takes lesser turns end to end (sporty). While regular corollas have "buzurg saheb rack" which takes more turns (easier to control car by any driver)

such rack differences also existed in older cars like the Honda Integras with factory B16A engine. (people used to call them "iss ka steering malai nahi hai - aam onda ki tara)
