Toyota Yaris ATIV CVT 1.3 vs Honda City 1.5 i-VTEC Prosmatec

Aoa, I have to select between two cars ( sadly Japaneses cars are not an option):
1) Toyota Yaris ATIV CVT 1.3 (2020)
2) Honda City 1.5 i-VTEC Prosmatec (2020)
I have heard alot of negative reviews about Yaris. can anybody share their user experience with Yaris?

Yaris is better than city.

Buy the Yaris 1.3 CVT. A completely new car with a better fuel economy than the City 1.5 Auto.

Yaris is good option.Don't know about fuel economy.City is unsafe car without airbags.

Toyota Yaris isn't that much good in this price bracket but when compared with Honda City, Yaris is far better in every aspect than Honda City. Don't waste your hard-earned money on such an over-priced car like Honda City which lacks even basic safety features like Airbags.
In short, I recommend you to get a Toyota Yaris among your choices.

In Yaris you also get traction control. It's way better than very uncomfortable City.

City is just too outdated and far behind toyota yaris in terms of features. It lacks airbags which are a necessity in this time. Honda should be shameful and release the next gen city.

Negative reviews are mainly due to its comparison with corrolla 1.6. If we compare between same league cars like Yaris n City then its better to opt for Yaris.

i have a 1.5 cvt, i would say it justifies every dime you pay comparatively.

Its better than Gli and City at a much better cost.

As for bad comments, these are paid campaigners who have not even seen the car. Just came across a scientist claiming to be Yaris owner and saying his car gives extra revs in D3... yaris is a CVT and there is no D3.. its Triptronic... so please dont trust them... go and check the car yourself. Buy it if u like it...

City is not a bad car either but lacks airbags and control. TRC will help you on slipery roads, like if you travel to places like murree etc. Agay its you choice

Honda City 6th gen although a old gen but if you watch indian comparison reviews you will come to know that its Still better selling and more liked car than yaris.

Also 6th gen city interior is more beautiful and high quality.

Between Yaris 1.3 And City, Yaris is a thousand times better.

It's 1.5 Yaris which is priced too high close to Altis 1.6 used range.. so at that range people want to go for Altis.

Between same segment ie City and Yaris..eyes closed Yaris.

Next gen city will be better but it's at least 1.5 years away. Even 2 years considering slow pace.

Next gen city in Pak is minimum 1.5 to 2 years away. Plus with Honda Atlas you can be sure they will strip it off all the important features. Not even sure about air bags, traction control and steering controls.

That car is not an option for now and for future if all international features are present then yes based on looks it will be better.

But 2 years away then own system etc.

yes you are right
