How on earth can Corolla be compared with Yaris or City...

Corolla is roomier and bigger... why yerking same and same story again... XLi ya Gli are not worthy of being called a corolla.. they are donkey carts, totally featureless and under capacity..

Toyota has done the right thing by discontinuing them.... ab you have a better smaller car and a better bigger car...

Why dont you consider an Altis 1.6?

Like i use a Corolla personally, jab bhi socha Civic ya Audi ka socha... kabhi smaller car per janay ka khayal nahi aya...

booked a Yaris for household regra, earlier had a wagon r for the purpose... can't even imagine to replace Corolla with a Yaris or City...

But what we need to realize is that indus motors was offering Corolla at a very competitive price to the masses. Similar standard Yaris Gli is straight away 6 lac rupees cheaper. Corolla Glis last retail price was 2950,000 with the last price increase Toyota did a Gli AT would cost you around 30,70,000 comparing to that a CVT GLi Yaris would still be 6 lack rupees cheaper.

You down grade another 6 lack you get Swift, Picanto, Cultus. Yaris comes at the right spot becoming diggi wali gari.

Yes i agree with you the other variants touching 2950 make you wonder and you want to put in more money and upgrade. But the Gli Yaris is good value for money adding another 80k gets you ATIV with good value for money reasonable features.

Still today if Indus motors plans to offer a 1600 GLI Corolla with GLi like options its going to be a great hit keeping the price competitive.

People reviewing should not make this blunder, comparing Yaris with a Corolla.

That's a different league car people.. Civic vs Corolla both bigger cars.

Yaris's competition is Honda City which is more cramped as compared to new Yaris and obviously generations behind.

So, compare with that.
