There might be a reconsideration for government pays... there have been instances in the past where a raise is given later on...

As for FED, it is common sense, how could one expect a reduction in difficult times like this... ofcourse, it was a propoganda and fake news... social media is a tool for opportunists!

whole idea of raising car height was to ensure that Yaris covers XLI legacy,high cars are inherent draw backs as raised centre of gravity makes them hard to stop ,at high speed turns chances of skidding increase and add further strains on chassey due to dis propagate dimension. There is a reason trraction control is standard also along with ABS .My 2 cents

The car has decent shape but they ruined it by raising it.

The car looks ugly due to the raise in height. I have seen interior, not so good. XlI GLI were better interior wise. Secondly interior quality is so so, you don't get the feel. Over all build quality is just ok, one should spend few extra bucks and get altis 1.6

Tranmission is better than altis 1.6 and so is economy. Corolla has a different segment so yaris actually don't compete with Corolla even if its gets 1.8 L engine.. corolla is bigger and overall much better

This transmission obsession is found only on Pakwheels.

I mean I drive the 1.6 Altis and the Civic X. I have never felt anything inferior transmission wise on my 1.6 as compared to CVT civic.

Its buttery smooth, the economy is good and that kick felt on downshift is enough to put a smile on your face.

Traction control is present even in cars which are not raised. It helps in a lot of situations, not necessarily only because the ride height is raised. If that had been the case, we would have seen traction control on previous corolla models as well, some of which were notorious for bad handling. What I do think is that Toyota is now focused more on safety, as we can see that they are now giving a lot of safety features as standard, starting from airbags in all corolla variants etc

Might be but Toyota never gave this in Corolla XLI/GLI/ALTIS (70 percent sales volume cars) with this raising of height done by Indus it was deemed necessary to keep car in check

That actually goes in favor of what I said. Corolla has always been raised like this. We never saw these features in that.
