Se saloon also didnt have abs. Since it became Altis it started coming with ABS.

GLI started having ABS from 2008

Shukar hai inhay ab aqal hai though brakes still not as good as Honda have.

the car manufacturers have to tweak the car for pakistani roads and they end up makind it look very very ugly.

btw this midget cousin of corolla is nothing compared to gli lookswise but it has good features.

Dudes I v used Yaris in Saudia n every Corolla from Indus model 1998..in Pakistan.
My experience is that
Yaris no doubt have latest features than xli gli.
But drive of Corolla even xli is far better than Yaris.
Suspension of Corolla leads the day even better than Civic till 2016 what to say Yaris.now 2016 onward Civic has v better suspension.
Yaris n city ma baidh Kar apko bumps pe ek cheep car ka ehsas hota ha. Drive luxury nai lagti. Yaris ma flooring kaliay pedal pe ziada zor da Kar wait krna parta ha or engine noise b sunna parta ha. What s called lag. Yaris kisi b sorat xli ya gli se superior nai ha drive, space,feeling in cabin,luxury n engine wise. Albata tweeks wise or features wise better ha.
If u v less member family or sole person drive or in city drive u may chose Yaris. But if u v big family n drive wid more no's ppl then chose Corolla.
Still u ppl haven't thought that how it will be pushed away by air when it will cross yutong/hino on motorway.
On bumpy roads drive xli n Yaris on speed more than 60 km/hr n u will forget all tweeks push start.acoustic windscreen.hill assist. Paddle shifters. Etc. I bet. So choice is URS.

Yaris has different suspension setup in Saudia i think.
Over here it is getting corolla suspension

Same suspension was there. N no Corolla suspension in Yaris. As such no suspension of Corolla was in belta .

How do u know ?
Even shock obsorber of pre FL Corolla grande were not same as of FL Corolla grande. Struts made powerful, absorption demping force of springs was changed. Due to these some tweaks whole phenomena changed.
Then how little ends, little chimta, little coilovers, little spring,little bushes of Yaris can have same output as of Corolla. Even the technology may same.

Sir, it is rude, personal attacks mean you are out of arguments...

Every country has its own tweeked version, the Yaris in Saudia has 14 inch tyres... so it is different... secondly the Corolla in Saudia is much superior than ours... they base version is xli and that too is 1600 cc with lots more rings and bells... its engine is different from our...

Definitely, Corolla is superior to Yaris.

XLi and Gli being sold in Pakistan were a disgrace to corolla, i pity people who bought gli auto... they suffer alot... Yaris is a smaller car but has better spechs than local gli's and xli... local corolla Gli seems like a ship with a boats engine...

Yaris is not a race car, it is designed to be laggy, it is for people who want a sophisticated urban drive... suspension is softer than any other car in its league... engine is noisy when you push it, but at the same time you forgot to mention, it super quite when driving smoothly. I will not say that you represented some rival brand so intentionally malined yaris... i can understand you were just trying to contribute. Thanks.
