Acceleration/throttle response doesn't feel right. I was on ECO mode.

CVT doesn't picks up like a conventional automatic or a manual. Try driving a manual side by side.

Depends on torque and body weight . civic or grande are absolutely fine.

Yaris may just be a bit underpowered.

You do feel that CVT sluggishness in low powered cars, mostly 1000cc and possibly 1300cc.

No The Player in Yaris is 1000times better than Chinese Android player.

As soon a you start the car and put car in reverse backup camera appears quickly not like android.

Its Sound processing unit and Software is given bu Kenwood hence if you want to develop SQ system you can use amps and high-quality speakers with the unit

Try running a grande or a Civic with their automatic or manual transmission counter parts and you'll know.

Yes a CVT can over take a automatic transmission in a straight run. But the pickup isn't as crisp.

Corolla 1800s pickup isn't as crisp a 1800 AT would have. I drive one.

it actually starts floating at anything beyond 100kph on motorways , people are reporting its a major issue . not like previous models.

reason of floating is nothing but the extra stretched height which not only gives it an overall hideous image but also affects its centre of gravity hence the floating effect on high speed.

I personally feel Yaris is standing on showroom floors and Indus motors is giving an artificial 3 month booking period.

When on papers saless have declined to a huge level, They have actually cut productions. to keep a artifical supply / Demand gap in the market.

I think major sales attracting variant is the 1.3 ATIV. Few people buying cars for drive driven are only opting for Gli.

The Adds on FB, with "ready deliveries" are asking 150'000+ own above the actual price. So I don't think its not selling. how can be an own on the damn thing if it is not selling???? If it is failed, how can be a premium on ready stock? it is evident that people are ready to buy it even by paying a premium. Failed to see a Logic in " Car is failed to sell But it has 150k+ Premium on it".

on lower side of price, there is an old honda city and discontinued suzuki ciaz.
on higher side, well nothing. only if you add some more of your hard earned money to buy corolla altis and may also a BRV.
in new car segment, there are no options and there never were.
some are still booking altis over fully load yaris plus 4 lacs.
regarding the own, the only reason is delivery timings. make it a month and there will be no own.

Not having OWN PREMIUM doesnt means a car has failed in the market. Its simple supply and demand. High prices has pushed away investors. Only real buyers are booking cars which has decreased booking time. Nothing problematic about it. Dont take it to your heart. WagonR and Cultus was avalible earlier then 3 months in 2017/2018 now they are begging to sell them. honda City had 8 to 10 months waiting time in august 2017. Now the car is either readily avalible below invoice or max a particular color would cost 20k above invoice for same day delivery.

So suddenly wagonR and City have failed? Toyota Pakistan it self is advertising 1.6L Manual Altis ready delivery so its a fail product?

Even their hot cake/bestseller Alto isn't doing great. When a friend inquired about Alto from dealerships in Lahore many gave 3 months delivery time (One even quoted 5 months). But almost all had 1 or 2 ready to sale units on the showroom floor at just 10-20k own.
My friend booked a White AGS at a dealership that gave 1 month delivery time but he got his car after just 1 week. That's how bad things are.

There is too much criticism on Yaris in Pakistan. I watched some indian reviews and they are comparing it with 6th generation city. Although their version has better features but no one treated it like an Alien there and gave good reviews about ride comfort. There are serious quality issues with Pakistani version or our hopes were too high??

There is not any proper user review or thread about this car. All I have learned here is that this car has a very bad shape, it wobbles, it can fly uncontrollably on motorway, tyre arches are too high n look funny, cabin space is less, arm rest is wrongly placed, cvt is not responsive and car makes more noise than actually accelerating, super feature of auto retractable side mirrors is missing, tyres are not good, plastic is used inside the cabin, suspension is not good due to extra height n recoil effect, ac is not good (just read yesterday). Wow. I wonder how Toyota as a company dared to launch such a car in our country. They should have kept it to countries which are not used to higher end cars like us. They should have extensively tested this variant here until a new yaris generation was launched worldwide. How they are running the company and who is the approving authority there.

There are not many real reviews or owners here. I'm sure the owners are Happy.

Some extremes that you see here are from people who hate the car, and don't own it either. Join some FB group to read actual reviews.

Just its shape is ugly as it's raised a lot, most people bash it because of that.

Otherwise as compared to City it is a thousand times better car, buy eyes closed if the other option is City.

Yaris is small sedan and loaded with all necessary features. Built quality is appropriate and shape is subjective thing but still if toyota indus can lower it down a bit then it will surely look better.
I m just wondering in KARACHI i dont see many Yaris on roads despite delivery was started 3 months back. Whre all cars are going?

nahi bhai , civic theek ha , grande ma lag ata ha. i hav manual 1800 altis and grande. bht zada difference ha CVT ki wja se pick ma. although gande is giving like 17 on long vs 13-14 on manual altis. but that elastic feeling is too much. normal drive ma he ye cheez feel hoti ha i dont overspeed anywhere.
