However since it's heavier & there's a power-loss due to torque converter (plus, the acceleration lag due to pulley-adjustment thus the rubber band effect) makes it slower & less fuel efficient.

bhai you mised up cvt and conventional auto tranny. CVT does not have a torque converter. and conventional does not have the elastic band effect.

The rest i agree MT is better for the driver feeling, i hv MT 1.8 and CVT 1.8 , MT is far far ahead in the driving scenario. CVT will get loud and show elastic effect even in normal highway over take scenarios.

dont know about yaris manual, or cvt but since 1.8 cvt shows lag, 1.5 cvt will definitely lag and scream. its good enough for city drive, and its designed for being inside the city.

InshaALLAH i will be receiving Yaris soon so I have few questions If anyone can plz help.

1. Firstly, I really like 3d, 4d, 7d etc. mats (available on sehgal motors Lahore) than the ordinary PVC or carpet mats, but I heard that for 4d, 7d mats they remove the all the seats of the car completely so cuz of that I am little hesitant cuz removing and reinstalling all the seats of a new car from the local mechanic, sounds a bad idea, They might not fit it properly and the manual fitting can never even come closer to factory fitting.
   Also, it might cancels my warranty (I am not sure about that) which is totally unacceptable. So what do you guys suggest?

2. Secondly, for the seat covers I heard the same thing that no matter which seat covers you want to install, they will remove all the seats and then install the seat covers and so, again I have the same reservations as mentioned in previous point.

I would appreciate the suggestions and moreover personnel experiences.

You can change both simultaneously .

It won't have any effect on warranty and seats are perfectly installed.
You will not find any difference.

What are the expected expenses for the 1st oil chnage (With 2nd inspection at 5000km), if some body has completed it please share experience with the total cost and the process. I think they change oil, oil filter, i think air filter change is normally at 10000km but cal alsi change if its condition is not good.

Since you mentioned, VSC and TRC are same things. Go thru the vdo i shared once again. You might realize that the raised height of Yaris makes it very difficult to stay stable in case of a sharp turn.

Since i dont own one, And you own one, Try doing a sharp corner with traction off at around 80km/H you should get your answer.

You seem to be a very intelligent person.

Try watching the video i shared earlier and youll know what am i trying to say here. TRC and VSC are a package for Yaris. The raised height will take the car to where you would never know. The car would skid from the rear if comes a sharp turn at speeds beyond 60km/h

Higher body cars have a higher center of gravity,

the higher the car, The lower the centre of gravity.

but it won't help you if your wheels don't have enough contact with the road.

VSC does that.

higher suspension travel actually helps road grip in rough roads.

It (the height) only helps to go through rough terrains. Their is no concept of helping a car grip on rough roads a 2 wheel car cant do that. You need a 4x4 for gripping on a rough patch.

i was expecting indus motors could come up with a basic 1.5L variant but the website delivery tracker shows 2 extra variants for 1.3 and 1 less variant for 1.5 (1.5 MT is not there anymore)

by models on the website i could only figure out one is 1.3HCVT and 1.3HMT the other is 1.3CVT and 1.3MT

h probably stands for High grade, so probably we are getting a basic / business package Yaris soon.

as in Philipines and Thailand such a variant has manual side mirrors, smaller wheels and maybe some unpainted panels (side mirrors/Door handles) but still have power windows.
