I think car should not be changed mechanically to lower or uplift as it would effect aerodynamics of the car and it's engineers work. Suspension should be genuine . Every one is not expert . Lowering is art and every body can't digest it.
Cosmetic body changes r more conducive to adopt.

And the other good news is that there are mud flaps along the tyres.
A friend was stating in an earlier post that mud flaps are not given in Yaris.

if someone can import, we can get toyota genuine springs from thai yaris which has reasonable height it will improve the driving dynamics and keep it original as well.

I think it won't be difficult to find lower springs from used parts market.

Wait a little, once our local mechanics get there hands on it, evey jugard would be there for you... let people experiment for another six months... till then, wait...

We have cruise control available, soon paddle shifters bhi add kerna shurou hou jaien gay... height adjustment is not a big deal any ways...

brother changing springs is done on regular basis... mostly people do it on imported cars to raise height. You are neither the first one to think of it, nor the last one... its being done for ages, the thing is that you just need to go to the right person, who knows how to do it....

Now that we have a car with increased height we want to reduce height. It won't be difficult at all, you could have your own springs cut a little to reduce the height, but i will not at all suggest this as this could go wrong and cause trouble... a better alternative would be to buy shorter springs and replace them, incase you don't like them, revert to stock, this does not cost alot...

If you are that much safety conscious and doubt kabli parts in your suspension, i would humbly suggest you to change your ride instead of doing the hassel of importing springs...

kabli springs would be atleast twice as reliable compared to the after market imported ones, mostly it is suggested to get japenese used springs over imported thai or Taiwanese stuff.... imported springs don't give you the requisite tension... either too soft or too hard... used Japanese spring would always give you the best ride quality.

As regards your back pain issue, Yaris has the softest suspension, despite being raised, you can not complain regarding this... May Allah bless you with good health....

One thing more, you don't need to change your shocks, just the springs get changed, leak sheak wala koi chaker nahi hota... please explore a little and you will understand

Yes buying brand new OEM Thailand made springs is best option .

Never ever buy Kabuli springs

People always discourage buying new springs, shocks etc.

Because Kabuli springs came from dubai and afghanistan in bulk quantities and are mostly rughly used. Then our kabuli markets venders make pair of them by collecting random identical springs .

Now when you buy this pair. One spring has different strength while other has different this makes your car imbalance not only in terms of heights but also in terms of drive.

And if you get a pair of springs from same car it might be possible that the car may be driven alot , old car springs losse their strength and becomes too much flexible. Thus old cars feels more comfortable on slightly uneven roads at low speed but at high speed they feel imbalace .

Also on week springs when you encounter a pot hole the springs instead of absorbing most of this energy transfers it to shocks thus decreasing shock life..

I recently gets my Civic reborn 2010 reae springs change with brand new Honda civic OEM springs from Honda Fort motors my car was deiven 1lack20thousand km on previous oem rims .

And i noticed that there is a significant increase in car height just like when its brand new .

But Also my car becomes much much comfortable before becuse on previous weak springs whenever somone sits on back seat of my car the car gets lifted from front and tyres gets inside the wheel arch ,this not only screwed my car looks but also screwd quality of ride .and whenever my front tyre hit a small pot hole it feelt like agraeat shock.

Now it absorbs pothole very smothly and i can feel hardly and small or medium pothole even when 3 persons are sitting in back

thats exatly what i said, however you cannot mess with the suspension design of a car. no jugar on family life at 120kph. thats why i said to get branded toyota yaris springs and shocks too if necessary.

i assure you. kabli is a waste of money i have been replacing those for a certain car since the original suspension (all four have to be replaced, cost more than a yaris)

Sorry dear Basit for late reply, i was in study of the users manual and trying to find the oil grade but i did not find it on manual, it only describes the maintenance schedule but nothing about the oil grade. But i got 5000km oil changed on Saturday. They used 5W-30 oil. So i think it is safe to stay with the 5w-30 grade.
Or we can go with 0w-20 or 5w-20.

Only parts that don't depreciate should be bought from kabar. All usable parts should be purchased brand new.

Often new parts are cheaper then scrap yard parts and we don't check.

Yes i do own one, i was the one of the first ones to get it in June...

i am sorry, i won't be able to do a moose test... however i can assure you that suspension is soft, but occasionally can hear a bump when crossing speed breakers without slowing down, the noise is not heard when the car is a little loaded....

In short, if you don't compare it with Corolla or Civic... its a good small sedan... i am getting an average of almost 18kmpl, mostly use it for going to office only...

I live in Rawalpindi, on the old airport road or the rawal road, where my gli sways alot at even 60kmph, yaris can easily manuver the turns without a hint of loosing control even at speeds exceeding 80....

It feels smaller than corolla but we as a family fit in almost the same like we do in gli...

Yaris somehow accommodates luggage better than corolla in the boot, both can handle almost the same but i feel than Yaris has a better rack position giving it a little edge.... i have speakers installed in corolla's rear rack which hampers optimal storage

Corolla has a very solid feel, Yaris is also good, but initially does not feel as much sturdy, however, after a decent time spent i can safely state that they are siblings... after installing bigger tyres, spoiler, window tints etc. its equaly flashy...

It is the next best thing to a Corolla in almost a million less when you compare the top variants...

Well, previously i was preached by some mechanic that in case you need shocks or springs, buy kabli stuff... new might not be of good quality...

In 2018 had a faulty shock in my Gli which was replaced by toyota Islamabad, at that time i had people preaching me that you could have replaced them for as low as 10k from Sultan da Kho while i was charged 80k including labour charges for the pair by the dealership... they said you can't change one....

This is the reason the guy above mentioned, in scrap you never know if the pair is of same strength. Such cars are usually of different height from both sides aswell, Mechanic will put in what ever they get commission in. Since new parts have a bill and scrap parts can be bought at what ever the price.

Yes 80k is a bit too much next time you need such parts search for agri autos. They will lead you to authentic distributors in your city. They supply to Suzuki, Toyota, Honda in pakistan. And sell same in open market aswell. Probably for 1/2 the price.
