Brand new car is a brand new one, no issues for 3 years at least. getting old car and then maintaining it is doubtful. Good decision taken by you at the end. Drive safe

We bought a Yaris for December delivery, it got delivered in January. When we brought it home we realized that the black film that goes on the side window frame was missing. When we approached the dealership they said they will write to IMC and investigate. A week later they came up with the lamest excuse..... YE NAYA FEATURE HE SIR. I have since seen a few other dark coloured cars with the same problem, all very recently registered.
Older cars and lighter coloured cars don't have this issue
Any suggestions on how to get IMC to fix this

I think it is same as design feature. If other cars are like this then don't sweat about it and enjoy new car feeling

This is clearly not a design feature, if it were, it wouldn't be limited to certain colours, also why remove the black film. but not the black plastic covers on B pillars? It is a major quality control issue and Toyota trying to shove it under the rug is highly unprofessional and damages my trust in the company.

This is very odd indeed. And you are right, my silver color Yaris is not like this and this portion is black.

Yeah it works perfectly don’t really have much info about the parts but it’s not a time consuming process and it’s plug and play I just told my trusted auto parts guy that I want to get one installed he took 9000 from me for the stick and wires and also labour

My car is having fuel pump issues. Only driven 6500 and the car refused to start in the morning today. Im from Islamabad i doubt weather would force a car to not start after 3 or 4 selfs. That too a push start car.

Yaris regardless of how much i love the features is proving to be a disappointment.

No it is plug and play no alteration required

Wao this is alarming, I noticed this just after you pointing it out, the black sach is only on lighter shades, (white and silver) all other colors have it on the B pillar only.
