There is a clear problem with Yaris fuel pump just as it was in Cporlla and Civic.They even put it in the newspapers for replacement under warranty.However it was restricted to certain Engine/Chassis Nos.Ask for replacement under warranty.The other day I was getting mine serviced and a customer was screaming away on the same issue.Car was driven 2000kms.

My ATIV (driven 6000 KMs)'s fuel average is approx. 12 TO 12.5 KM/L since the very beginning. How about you? What fuel average are you getting?

The vehicles delivered in November were alright, even the test drive cars are fine, the ones without the black sash started appearing in December

Write to indus motors. Maybe they have a solution or an answer to the issue.

Yes will take it to the showroom this weekend. This is not right. The car didnt start. A bloody 3.2 million car didnt start as the fuel pump was not throwing petrol in.

Fuel average is relative.But that's what you get in city driving.A lot depends on driving habits, use of AC and whether its city or open road driving.I have noticed same jumping to 15/16 kms on a clear road.

I am satisfied with the fuel average. Its these issues; wobbling and fuel pump that is making me angry.

AOA everyone.
I have yaris ATIV X 1.5, after knowing that some people are facing fuel pump issues, I am really concerned, although ALHUMDULILAH i haven't faced the issue yet. So, is there any way I can avoid this issue?
My car is not used often, hardly done 150 km. the first maintenance service is due on 1st week of March, so should i ask the service guys to check fuel pump even if i am not facing the issue?
plz share your experiences and guide me accordingly.

Only one guy has reported that fuel pump problem so far out of so many people so I dont think its an issue to worry about at the moment

Please don't worry about it.If you don't have a problem just relax and enjoy your car.In Civic different people had different issues like Steering rack,AC evaporator or Fuel Pump.Nobody got all three hence relax.

Assalam Alaikum everyone. I have recently bought Toyota Yaris 1.5 X & i’m facing in connecting bluetooth to its multimedia. My cell phone didn’t detect its bluetooth device, i have iphone 7 but i have also tried it on Samsung S10 & it also didn’t show there. Can anyone please help me with this issue.

Actually Yaris has a pretty reasonable multi media.It has no issues connecting with blue tooth. Please follow the instructions closely.Just to be on safe side though not necessary remove all other devices from your phone. You can pair them later again.

19 on highway? You must drive it slow like a Chakra.

It's possible to get 18 on a Vitz 1.0 at 100-110.

19 seems like a possibility for Yaris if driven at no more than 100.

yesterday I was driving at Shahrah e Faisal in the evening and I was noticing light jerk while accelerating. is it related to Transmission on low fuel can also cause this?

Low fuel can cause jerking and also can damage fuel pump
